Used to use them a few years ago for a while and they were always friendly and easy then one day they gave me a hard time and were acting shady so I began using other options.  Anyways I went back to them last month once with a diff account as my first transaction and they gave me a hard time asking me how I know the person, are we related, blah blah.  JW if anyone else has gone through similar situations of late.

I use them all the time for transactions under $900 and never have a problem.

Late last year, Moneygram hired a new compliance officer and this cocksucker doesn't like gambling. Dealing with Moneygram is like having a wife or a girlfriend. They always ask too many friggin questions.

I stopped using them long ago anyway but I've spoken to quite a few people who've had problems with them since this new hardass took over. If you try to send ten dollars to someone across the street, they like to give you a hassle so when to try to send or receive money from someone with two first names and three last names in some banana republic, you're probably going to have a problem. Not worth the hassle. Stick with Western Union and keep the transaction amounts low.
