#1 Posted: 3/14/2009 10:54:00 PM Im closing my account with them. Iam sick of there bull garbage. I made a mistake of a wager and i had other wagers on the play. Foer example i had 20 units on The steelers and 20 more at the half. I tried to add 15 more units on the game before it started and put it on the Cardinals by accident. So i called them and said hey i made a mistake. they said no they wont change it and thats that. the manager kept on hanging up on me. So i counted it up as a lost. Well today there was a mistake on there part on Utah St 1st 10 minutes +15. You guys must of saw it. Well i unloaded my roll. Max bet. They let it go all the way until the score was 12-0. Then they removed my plays. But i also put in parlays with it and these plays were in my pending wagers. But when they refunded the threestraight wager my parlays has disappeared. They said i never have any parlays. I mixed them up with the nba games and they say whats the ticket number. I told them there is no ticket number because you folks earased my play. They freaken hung the phone on me and say iam lying. The managers is nothing like betjamaica and the greek. I am closing my account for hgood and my poker account. These guys are a bunch of rip offs. I cant stand poor customer service. |

#4 Posted: 3/14/2009 10:58:18 PM you must have had the great experience of speaking to the "god of Costa Rica" Tony Dimes. Did he tell you that you were speaking to god and only god can help you?

#5 Posted: 3/14/2009 10:58:50 PM The customer service SUCKS..............They act like they are doing you a favor by taking your wagers.
I had a problem getting a Moneygram............after 5 days. I took the check. They paid. But they are SLOPPY ....at times.
BetJam and Scotty are the best. I wish that they offered the same wagering options as 5 Dimes. |

#6 Posted: 3/15/2009 8:12:32 PM All I know is that I bet a lot of horses there. The bets ALWAYS go through, no breakdowns unlike my ex sportsbook, easy deposit, slow or no payout Hollywood. Plus the 5 dimes always pays. I bet a lot of sports there also and have had no problems.
Have been betting there since Pinnacle closed down for US customers.

#9 Posted: 3/16/2009 9:55:45 AM This is from 5 Dimes and every other book I know of:
All wagers are final once accepted by 5Dimes and confirmed by the player.
All wagers placed on events with obvious erroneous lines resulting from human error will be graded no action. Past-posting is considered stealing and will be dealt with in the harshest manner possible.
As for your parlays I have no idea. That seems unfair. |

#10 Posted: 3/16/2009 11:31:14 AM their is NO such thing as Customer Service..You do as your told, or go somewhere else...un-fortunately there's nothing you can do about an un-regulated global sportsbook business. ALWAYS remember, they pay when there ready, and sometimes not at all; and there's not a thing you can do about it..NOTHING...
Chaucer29/ "will be dealt with in the harshest manner possible"
that's fine, but first you must find the company, then the person responsible, and then what? deal face to face if your serious, Nevada, or a "Local" at least you can arbitrate your dispute in person, and not have to concern yourself about getting paid. Nevada is regulated to the max.. Local guys love winners, and never squelch on a wager. Offshore/Online just pull the plug, and your history..Like many, they hide behind a keyboard |

#13 Posted: 3/16/2009 10:46:52 PM So I had a bet that was accepted by 5dimes and it was for the over 10.5 points for the game on the Cavs (should have been 100.5). It was erased before the game started. Does this mean I should be paid? |

#14 Posted: 3/17/2009 12:01:15 AM I've got to agree 5Dimes customer service is pretty bad. I can't stand that guy Tony. I've used 5dimes for a long time and that guy had the audacity to call me a cheater when I won some soccer games. The guy tried to redeem himself by giving me a free play of 200 bucks but I definitely don't use 5dimes much anymore. Only for some multi sport parlays.

#15 Posted: 3/19/2009 10:02:47 AM I have been with these guys since the started haven't ever had a problem with them.
But as to changing a wager. Almost all books will say that you should of checked your wager before you pushed that final wager button. It gives you a chance to confirm or cancel. |

#16 Posted: 3/19/2009 10:32:02 AM SBGGlobal man same day payouts all you got to do is call them at 9am in the mourning when u want to cash out then the money is ready for you via western union or moneygram at 4pm....as far as making mistakes when betting Most sites would not reverse it or take it off for you anyway.......... so its not only 5 dimes its every where when you are talking about making mistakes and not having them fix it for you...

#17 Posted: 3/21/2009 6:31:06 PM I don't even have an account with 5Dimes, but called them a month ago to ask if they have 5 inning lines in baseball. I was on the phone for 20 minutes because they couldn't figure out what I was talking about. I broke it down to them in various ways (it's like a halftime bet for football/basketball, it's the score after the 1st 5 innings of a baseball game, etc.) - I finally got confirmation that they have those lines, but it took forever......

#19 Posted: 4/6/2009 6:38:03 AM i love hearing this 5dimes rag. they do suck. but they're lines are good.
i've heard of this tony. talked to him. heard about him on local costa rican forums. he's a person. he must hire his sister's hooker friends to run the customer service phones. these chicks who answer have no brains or politeness.
i've been 4 years with them and called it quits. not worth putting up with their bull garbage for +6 point buys.
that scotty guy at betjam seems for real. writes you personally. pays you quick. just their lines suck. if only i could wager with pinny again. guess it's drive to las vegas. |

Which online books actually list thier physical address?
BTW, 5dimes customer non-service has gotten worse over the past couple of years. I never really have to deal with them so it works out well for me. |

#25 Posted: 4/17/2009 4:56:55 PM I am a bookmaker. A sportsbettor. Have worked in Alice Springs, London and now outside of Montreal. Started in 1998 in Canberra. Any sportsbook will cancel incorrect lines, decent customer service will inform you. I would say they are idiots for getting rid of bloke who has 15 plays in 1 day. But at the same time if you jack on bad lines they will be cancelled. Most books will cancel bets if cancelled immediately but if the game has started forget it. by the way 5 dimes is reputable in my opinion and experience it just that they hack you down when you try and bet their exotic stuff, when they started betting tennis totals and handicaps in 2001, for good customer service try centrebet or sportsinteraction they will listen to you whine for hours, if you are that kind of person...and you are |
