This is a prime example of why we need regulation, and especially in the transportation industry.

To me saying we need regulation is like saying we need affirmative action...

What we need is the people to not do the stupid stuff that necessitates intervention...

Have you ever seen these buses on the road? They drive like maniacs. Just imagine, Chinese people are known as bad drivers and now you have Chinese people driving buses.

Who cares about bus regulations.  

Obviously the state is protecting their industry from competition.  

I wonder if their fleet faces as much scrutiny?

You are so right Darkhorse, their mentality is all about competition to the last nickel, no matter who gets hurt, no matter what. This is the main reason the banking sector collapsed, they do not care about the lives of the average American. That was so obvious after Sandy Hook.
