The White House has not released cost estimates for the new preschool plan. The president has said this proposal and others announced in his address would not add to the federal deficit.

Universal pre-school is a horrible idea. Head Start is a failure. Why would Obama even propose this?

Administration answer: Well, we can: (a) just borrow the money, (b) raise taxes, or (c) print more money.

The solution to solve our education problems start in the home. If the parent/parents don't set the proper tone, there will be little hope.
