#1 Posted: 4/12/2012 10:25:58 AM republicans do everything they can to position themselves as the women-hating party so that no self respecting woman, or anyone who's had a female mother, wife or kid or other close friend or relative so that he has any respect for women, would ever associate with the republican party,
however, the democrats never let the republicans go down a self destructive road by themselves. it's amazing how ignorant these two groups are.

#3 Posted: 4/12/2012 11:01:33 AM I'd be happier if the USA was a left wing country and people needed to pander to the left to get elected instead of the right...
You know, if you got noticed as a candidate for promising pensions and affordable healthcare and education etc. instead of free access to guns and limited access to healthcare services etc.
If Democrats want to attract Republican votes, they have to devolve into a women hating close minded neanderthals. Nobody wins in that sense.
Race to the bottom, race to the right... same thing. |

#4 Posted: 4/12/2012 11:09:28 AM i agree with both. they are largely interchangeable, not in a specific sense, but in the big picture. but like disco said, i would side with the democrats if i had to because i can stomach their flaws much more than the republican craziness.

Yeah, the fem nazis that demand women go and enter the workplace and dirty bomb the nuclear family, speak best for women. I have a mom and three sisters, and for the life of me i cannot see how they ought to be voting for democrats instead of republicans? care to explain?
my mom, the homemaker, is the hardest working woman you will ever meet in your life, she would run circles around that hog. What does she do that is such hard, important, work? Drop her kids off at daycare and then blog political commentary

#10 Posted: 4/12/2012 12:02:47 PM In 2008, Rosen derided Republican attacks against Michelle Obama as an example as "stupid strategy."
"You know essentially, you've taken on sort of the most sympathetic person in the candidate's realm, the wife, who is taking care of the children, supporting the husband, doing everything she can because she loves him," Rosen said on Anderson Cooper 360 according to a CNN transcript from May 19, 2008.

i can't argue with you. i was sold on the ron paul idea as the best option. outside of that, i'm not too excited about voting. our local options aren't any better.

Feel free to point out to him that he is about to vote Obama (Democrat) as he believes it will be in his own 'financial best-interests' (self preservation)
So........ Yea, ask him what that's about |

Club - regardless of what's thrown in your direction, you always remain a total class act. I swear you and cashin must be the most polite people on either side of the political spectrum I have ever come across. Much respect to both of you.
Cheers my friend
Hope you have a pleasant day |

Sounds good to me! I would just promise free everything!
Nice buzzword “affordable”. As if government can just step in with a magic wand and impose prices and policies to realize this. (With no adverse economic side effects!) Who knew!
While we’re at it, lets make housing affordable!
Free access to guns! Right.

#20 Posted: 4/19/2012 9:48:49 AM Leon Panetta hs just jumped into his nice jet to fly home for a long weekend at tax payer expense. Just a current example of the duplicitous Left. I never heard of Gates or Rumsfeld flying home at tax payer expense. For whatever reason leaders on the Left think the taxpayers money belongs to them. See GSA. See Sylindra. To many examples to mention. |

Yup, right now, it’s misguided vs. crazy. I would rather vote for a person that’s misguided than a crazy person.
The Republican party - the party that boos intelligence and applauds stupidity. Republicans had the perfect candidate to defeat Obama and that was Ron
Paul and they fucked it up because they have garbage for brains. Every time
Ron Paul said something bright and intelligent Republicans booed him. |

#23 Posted: 4/19/2012 11:39:38 AM money, the religious crazy element has always been the difference for me.
i love these gsa congressional hearings. a bunch of people who routinely waste millions, or more, grilling a few people who wasted hundreds of thousands. i guess it's worse when the money is wasted in vegas? heathens.

Ease of access.
Less regulations, paper work, criteria etc.
The goal of getting guns into people's hands as easily as possible. With as little limitations as possible.
