As a CT Resident... I can't believe our Fire Union!!

According to the union, of course, his urge to be of help to people in need was absolutely the wrong response...

 "Response to emergency calls and calls for service are the duties and responsibilities of bargaining unit members of the West Hartford Firefighters Association, Local 1241," reads the grievance.

As punishment for Mr. Sinsigalli's sense of duty and civic-mindedness, the union is asking the town to give one day's pay and overtime to the next fire officer and the next two firefighters on the overtime list.

I can't believe the grievence was initiated by the firefighters,but by their thug union leaders ...either way unions or firefighters. that encourage these kinds of actions shows why American's have lost sympathy for them...

Notice how the Union thugs want 3 people payed ...2 firefighters and 1  officer for the actions of one firefighter ...makes sense really punish the towns taxpayers ...stick it to them real good ..

private sector people dont think "thats not in my job duties" or "hey thats my job duty" like union ppl do

Its sad, the unions have wreaked havoc on this country....their time of needed expired about 90 years ago

They ought to go to China and unionize and let America rebuild itself again without their bullshit

WTF are you talking about cd this is the M O for just about every union around.

If you disagree with that then you have no clue about unions and how they operate.

The electricians union at a trade show wont let a non union member plug in an electrical cord. Its utter bs and you know it.

Yet unions are somehow the cause of all of our ills.
