The damage IS the roots, we allowed cross breeding into our political system and it is damaged irregardless of who is in office.

The longer we allow the free markets to pollute politics via contributions/PAC/lobbyists the longer we keep sinking.

Its either a war monger leaders like Reagan, Bush I and II or extended social interests like Obama, neither party is worth a crap.

If I am choosing a pile of crap I would choose social over war/defense spending though.

I think people that fumble the problem, so they cannot even begin to reason a solution, will just look for a boogey man, and for this fella, it's "free markets"

It's so weird to hear Americans bash the idea that a more informed populace with freer flowing information, is somehow a bad thing, but it is no coincidence that these same people believe in a higher power, in this case, some other person that knows better than themselves, to problem solve for them.  I guess one could deduce that this particular crowd often subjugates responsibility and instead relies on somebody else to do the work for them

Must suck to have such low self esteem and such a poor opinion of the rest of society.

The trouble brewing for ROmney, is that if he wants to win an election with the (R) vote, it will be damn hard when Obamacare atop the list of things righties don't want, and this guys major 'accomplishment', was an individual state using it's powers to mandate something similar and possibly worse, in Romney care

I'm so glad this story came out because Romney is a POS! Is there a difference between this and Kerry not paying taxes on his yacht? To me they're the same.
Sadly we don't see politicians go to jail for tax evasion, or very few, but if it you or me it would be a totally different story.

So let's see how catchers 'Mitt' spins: Romneycare and tax evasion to the voters other than in that toilet known as Massachusetts.
Also, does it bother anybody else when they describe Romney as Governor? He shuld be announced as ex-Governor of Massachusetts.

Romney does another flip-flop ..after saying two day's ago he would release his tax return in April ..he is now releasing his 2010 return on Tuesday along with an estimate of his 2011 tax bill............

That is just a joke. I am guessing you werent around when we debated this absurd concept in the past.

How about you do this..what percentage of borrowers in this country are minorities? 

Now with that percentage in mind, what percent of those borrowers went into foreclosure?

Now with THAT in mind, what was the average mortgage balance of those foreclosures and what losses did the lenders take on those foreclosures?

You need to come to terms with your obvious biases.
