In a time when America needs to be united by a true leader...who might be our better option....McCain and all he stands for and all he has done for this country or Obama, who wont even salute the American flag and who has some long term relationships with Muslim extremists.
WTF has this country come to?

"all he has done for this country"....is create a heightened divisiveness...polarized the country better than anyone in recent history.....caused members of the current Republican administration to come out and support Obama...cause one conservative journalist to be fired from his job...by the magazine founded by his father....and more to come....

Sen.Obama is not a Muslim. He has not always been a Christian as Gen.Powell claims, and he is from Muslims on his father's and step-fathers side, but they were not extremist.
...... besides being endorsed by Muslim extremist like Hamas ,Farrakhan,Quadafi and having his Muslim outreach adviser meeting with Islamic groups(CAIR) with extremist views....
I have not heard of any long term relationships Obama has had with Muslim extremist......

The Neo-Cons in here have descended to depths not reached by even Jacque Cousteau. Obama is a Muslim, no he is a Radical Christian in obeyance of the Rev. Wright, no he pals with Ayers, no he pals with Rezko, no he pals with Adoph Hitler, or was it that commie bastard Stalin. Yet, not one word about their forlorn candidate John McCain or his retarded partner Edith Bunker.Never will you hear from the Neo-Con any positive program that the GOP has to offer. It is truly sad how low the party of Dirksen, Goldwater,
Buckley, and even Buchanon has sunk. Totally devoid of ideas and solely intent on character assasination as a result.Thank goodness they will be out of power in a few short weeks, and then hopefully they can cleanse themselves of the Rovelike scum that has directed them for way too many years. Then and only then will they become a political force to be reckoned with and I among many others hope that day will come.

It would be both naive and insulting to think that General Powell is supporting Barack Obama because of George Bush's lies....
He was very blunt about the mis-direction and erratic nature that the McCain campaign...and, therefore, John McCain himself, had been showing in this time of crisis...while Obama had been showing a more measured approach to the same crisis....
If you will all remember that early morning speech, the day of the first Bailout vote, where McCain claimed victory for the vote and made "air quotes" about Obama "monitoring" the situation rather than running to Washington to be a leader for the vote. Well, the fact that he WAS monitoring was...as it turned out...the right approach for what was happening and running to Washington for a photo op with the President and photo ops of being on the phone all weekend....well, that was erratic and wrong...NOT, the stuff that a leader, a President, should show in time of crisis.
...and, let's not forget the MOST ERRATIC part of the entire McCain campaign....the selection of Sarah Palin.
