If I remember correctly, G-dub had a pretty solid lead on Kerry in 2004.....I know I layed pretty significant juice on him to win and certainly sweated it out as he went to significant + money early on election day (live and learn). Anywho, I really think that McCain is going to somehow make this closer then what it appears right now. I think he's going to start pounding away on old reliable....Obama will increase your taxes. I also think that the country won't let one candidate get too far out in front because they don't have a level of trust for ANYONE right now...just look at what is happening with Congress.
If you want to bet Obama and have not, I think it would be prudent to wait this out to get a better number. Does anyone not think that this is going to be close in the end? I just have a hard time seeing it any other way when all is said and done. But I've certainly been wrong before. I don't think we've seen the end of the republican campaign....too much time left to make a few more moves. Just what might those be?
