#8 Posted: 10/12/2012 10:40:37 PM I've got Luck in 2 leagues. Both people dropped him for the bye and I scooped him. Don't expect that every week from a rookie QB. Green Bay is a little better on D this season, but last year they were a joke, and they've only gotten older, and the new guys are inexperienced.
AP is already nursing an ankle injury as well, and his goal line carries are limited by Ponder's running, Kyle Rudolph, and Percy Harvin even getting carries.
In one of my leagues the QBs on waivers are pretty crappy, but Alex Smith will get you a good 17-18 points. So will Carson Palmer (he had a bad game last week).
The cream of the waiver QB crop would be Luck, Dalton, and Fitzpatrick (he plays NE again). The difference between Luck and Romo usually will be about 3 points either way.
Ray Rice is the second highest scoring RB in the league right now. You better be getting at least 2 skill players that are averaging 15 points a week for him, and a QB doesn't count. |
