To make a long story short:
Oakland has seen a lot of Verlander lately, and even though they only scored one run off him in game 1, they faired ok. Verlander was getting a lot of questionable pitches called for strikes-exactly what you would expect from the best pitcher in baseball pitching at home against a 23 yr old rookie. BUT, we arent in Detroit anymore. Don't expect those calls tomorrow. Crowd will be absolutely electric. Detroit takes the apple; They've run into a buzzsaw.
