In my no nothing opinion,Oswalt is over-rated..His numbers are not representative of his salary.He even got knocked around by his former team with the worst record in the big leagues..With a full line up Cards will cause him prob behind him is about to bleed.. Phillies always have the bats to get it done,however they relied on pinch hittee Francisco to deliver the goods in game 3 after being dropped for Pence since his arrival..`tis not a good sign..
Flip side see`s the Cards hitting ball well ,however not when it matters most,still they are getting the hits and pushing pitchers through the pitch count,which when it comes to the latter innings in game 5 will only play in their favor...Jackson is a solid pitcher and was brought across for this reason and I have no doubt he is up to it..With a well rested pen that may even be a tad sharper, I see the homies making this series go one more time..

Ditto on Oswalt......I just don't trust the man.Jackson has been red hot,particularly at home,so if I'm gonna invest any money its not on an very OVERATED Oswalt.He may win,but not for my money,so I'm taking the + money on Jackson and the.330 Bat.Avg the cards have against him.Jackson got lit up vs phillie when he was with Arizona,but I like a pitchers second time around,at home and in a big game.Let's face it the philly's don't exactly light up the score.Thier pitching is their claim to fame and I don't believe its Oswalt in this situation.

ADD:I'm still tossing this one around,but I'm leaning on a small play on the +moneyline side (500) on jackson and the cards at home.

Ill go with Philly here.. Oswalt doesn't allow the long ball too often. Only 10 this season in 24 starts.

OVER-RATED???

He's 5-1 lifetime in the playoffs! That's what his salary is for. The Phillies don't pay players to help them get to the post-season, they assume they will be there. They keep this guy because he's a post-season machine.
