Celtics all the way here. Billups is clearly hurting again, and the Pistons lost to the Celtics bench players tonight. I'll obviously wait until the lines come out, but after tonight's game, Celtics take this one down as well

CMJ... here's my concern after what i've seen from the C's... i love the way they play when they are in desparation mode... but they don't seem to have a killer instinct right now... i think that is the next thing i need to see from them before i can bet them with too much confidence in this game...
but i do like the fact they got that road monkey off their back... you could be right about them taking this one... i am more expecting them to take 5 and end it in 6 in Detroit, personally...

this is definitely a must-win game for Detroit... but from a handicapping perspective, there's no way to make a strong case for laying 6 against Boston anywhere... so to me this is a no bet game as far as the side is concerned...
i think this could be the ugly 76-68 type game of this series i talked about before it started, and i would definitely say under or nothing at all as far as the total is concerned... still, the totals on this series are so low it only takes one spurt in any quarter to put it over...

i will say this, if the Celtics bring their A game and if Pierce and Allen are putting up numbers, they will win game 4 and this series will end in 5...

This series is beginning to seem almost too predictable. When one team needs the win, it gets it.....when the other team seems down and out and needs the win, it gets the win.
This losing at home thing is nothing new for the Pistons. I wasn't surprised that they lost Game #3 at home to the Celtics in a BIG way. They weren't prepared coming off of that big win in Game #2 in Boston.
The Pistons pulled this same stunt against the Sixers in Round 1 of the playoffs this year. I know this is the Celtics we are talking about here but this is a seasoned veteran Pistons team that knows when to turn it on when they have too. Oh and by theway the Pistons have "NOT" lost BACK to BACK Home Games allyear. It's just something they don't seem to do.
If I'm not mistaken Detroit is also PERFECT against the spread at home after a loss this year.....
The chances of Boston winning Back to Back road games in Detroit is staggering considering their terrible road play in these playoffs. I think Boston is glad to have that first road win in the books and are glad that they have REGAINED home court advantage once again.....
This is a MUST WIN for the Pistons in this situation.....they WILL RESPOND!!!!!
If they weren't, why would VEGAS make Detroit a BIGGER favourite than last game.....it just wouldn't make sense!
They want us to take Boston, thats why they raised the line from -5.0 last game. My guess is Detroit hasn't won at home to the Celtics this year and the public knows this and by raising the line to -5.5 or -6.0 would sure make alot of Celtics followers jump all over that spread! Well I'm not.....
Detroit Moneyline (5 Units)
Detroit -6.0 (2 Units)

well, i'll admit, that was a hell of a call on the lakers team total under, could not have imagined them being THAT flat... my only loss last night was that over though and that pushed with my spurs team total over so i basically just cleaned up on my biggest play being the spurs -5... so i'll take it...
That being said CM... come on man, i know you love your celtics, but don't do it here man. Detroit is almost every bit as good of a team. If Chauncey seriously is not right, an adjustment will be made, and stuckey can play if he gets minutes... boston will not have NEARLY the sense of urgency in this one as they did what they had to... stole one back... and now they can fall back into their lull of home wins only... Detroit is too good of a team to drop two straight at home to a team that is now 1-6 on the road... if the hawks and the cavs can win 3 at home, there's no way the pistons lose back to backers.... It's them who have to play with a sense of urgency tonight and that's how it'll go down.

everyone assumes that billups is injured becuase he only touched the rock 6x last game.....i agree he may not be 100% ,but thats not the reason he was non-aggressive....fact is the whole detroit team was non-existent from tip-off......Boston was clearly onna a mission from losing at home, and Detroit simply could not match the C's intensity......BOSTON won fair and square, however Detroit gave them a lil help......now the roles will reverse as BOSTON will not match DETROIT'S INTENSITY.......against ATL & CLE, BOSTON was never really threatend by losing on the road becuz they controlled and dominated at home, therefore their intesity could not be matched against ATL & CLE becuz ATL & CLE was in a must game situation.....now Detroit is in a must game situation at home, and after getting blowed out, they will respond heavily, plus Detroit is too good to go down 3-1......as far as Billups is concerned ,he will respond just like Ginobli did last game......

Deeeetroit Pistons -6 Look for the cover here as the Pistons rebound from a home loss! Count it again!!!
Agreed. for me the question is do I hit the Under too? I think if Detroit win this game....and I think they will....how will they do it? I dont think Det wins a shootout. I do think Det wins a defensive minded game....AT HOME. Also Det usually bounces back well after a loss. Chauncey or no, a team this good KNOWS it simply can NOT go down 3-1. I like Det and the under. Now all I gotta do is resist Q bets.
