I know one thing, if Dwight Howard thinks the Los Angeles media is unfair to him now, then he better leave town if he doesn't show up big in this game.
This is the first game after the all star break and the Lakers are two spots out of the playoffs.

2nd night of a road b2b for Boston. I'm sure they want to play spoiler to Lakers opening night part 2, but I don't think it is in the cards. -Emotion could possibly lead to a let down, but I think the Lakers will come out tonight focused. Other things to consider: -PG matchup favors La -Boston has plenty depth at sg, but will that be enough to stop 24? I doubt it -I know they are professional athletes in the utmost sense of the word but fatigue may play a major factor with Pierce and KG. Moreover, Metta traditionally is a great defender so if he can frustrate Paul Pierce the Celts may have trouble scoring. -If the Lakers bench has a pulse tonight and provide some timely shooting, then I think this one gets ugly. Last thing, that i find particularly interesting...Celtics ROLLED the Lakers the last time they played(i think it was by over 20 pts) yet the Lakers are substantial favorites here. Probably looking too much into it but ill take my chances.
