#5 Posted: 2/19/2013 3:13:58 PM The Milwaukee Bucks (+4.5 at 5Dimes) are showing us some solid value as they visit the Barclay's Center tonight. To say that the Bucks have owned the Nets in recent years would be an understatement. Milwaukee has won 13 straight against Brooklyn (and formerly New Jersey). The Bucks have cashed in 13 times the last 16 times these two have played overall, and they're a perfect 7-0 ATS in the last 7 meetings when the Nets are hosting. Brooklyn did go into the All-Star break with some upside, winning their last two games. But it's worth noting that both the Nuggets, and the Pacers, were in the midst of a grueling stretch of their respective schedules. Before those two victories, the Nets had managed to win just 3 out of 9 games. Brooklyn outscores their visitors by just 2.6 points per game this year at the Barclay's Center. We don't think they're going to outperform that number tonight (which is often the case recently, as they're just 1-4 ATS here in their last five). Milwaukee finally snapped a 4 game losing streak just before the break, beating the Sixers at home. That win is important here, as it kept them in the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. They'll have to keep that momentum going into the second half of the season if they expect to reach the playoffs. We like them to do just that against a team they've dominated of late. The Bucks are 14-11 ATS on the road this year, including 6-4 ATS as a road dog of 3 1/2 to 6 points. They're also a staggering 45-16-2 ATS in their last 63 against Atlantic opponents. Brooklyn is just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games when playing a team with a winning record. And they're 0-2 at the window this year after 3 or more days off. We'll take the points and the Milwaukee Bucks tonight in Brooklyn.

which means none of what Almo said matters.
Nets -4.5 because they are the better team and the Bucs have no one to score in the paint. I cant just reley on B Jen and Ellis to just shoot they lights out. Given Dalembert has been playing good lately, but he's not enough. I think the Nets gonna play with some spark with D Will back and Lopez got some motivation from being a 1st time All Star. |

Nets -5 under 194
Eastern Conference team is bad medicine for the ailing Bucks. I'll lay the small number.
