They've added just a basket to this total compared to the previous meeting earlier this month in LA which they completely blew outta the water topping it off at a robust 229 pts. Yet this total will be somewhere around 205?? Hmmm -- UNDER!

Does seem too good to be true, but I will take my over-analyzing cappers hat off and go with the art of reason. LA will not lose 3 in a row many times if at all this year. Can't see them doing it in this spot especially against a Memphis tam that looked terrible against hapless Cleveland. Lay the 5.5 with confidence....Also my sentiments are pretty similar with Portland tonight. They are a much better team then they are showing right now. I know Philly has had some success against them in the past, I think they bounce back after their recent skid.

105-99 is close

Lakers haven't lost 3 in a row in last 2 seasons going back to 12/08.
I count 8 pairs of back to back losses and in the 3rd gm they win. They covered 5-8 in 3rd gm.

Ron Artest and D. Fisher have been in a shooting slump and are due. 
Gasol vs Gasol and big brothers always like to keep the younger ones in their place.

LAL -5.5 for a 4 Unit play. 

This is a typical game where you want to bet the Lakers. Coming off two straight losses the Lakers are primed for a big time win.

Kobe carried the team with 40+ points on Sunday, and usually when this happens the Lakers get contribution from the support staff the following game. 

I don't see any way for the Lakers to lose 3 in a row. They are well coached and will be primed for a win. They have not lost 3 in a row for over 1.5 years.

The Lakers will be focusing on defense tonight, usually when this happens they end up covering as their defense is one of the main components to their success on offense.
