Knicks look good with D'Antoni on the sideline and they have a 3 game winning streak to show for it. San Antonio has struggled witout Ginobli and will now be without Parker until early December too. They are 0-3 SU at home and 0-5 ATS this season. The Spurs are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 vs. the Atlantic Division. Over 60% of Joe P is on the Spurs at home. I'll gladly take the Knicks +3.5 and anything more they want to give me.

Caution to all the Knicks betters. San Antonio is at home and haven't played since the 7th and usually after a major injury teams respond. I was looking at the Knicks, but I am going to stay away now.

I can't see the Spurs trying to run and score with the Knicks without Parker, so common sense would tell me that they will try to slow this one down... Also I'm thinking the Knicks won't shoot as well on the road...
Under 197
Not sure about the side though, being that the Knicks have covered 3 in a row and the Spurs haven't covered yet. Will have to see about that closer to gametime...

come on now guys, we all know what's going on in san antonio, but
seriously... the knicks?!? this line has just gotten bigger despite
everyone on the knicks... yeah i know tony parker's out, but they
picked up roger mason in the offseason, a very underrated fill in guy
who played great for the wiz last year with daniels and agent 0 out for
most of the year. plus how can we forget the fact that d'antoni is
coach pop's personal bitch. If he could have beaten the spurs, he
would have done it with better talent in phoenix.
As cute as the knicks have been this year, they haven't really done
anything that impressive... they beat miami by 5... ok miami's talent
is mostly based on two superstud rookies who aren't used to the road
yet and only beat the spurs because their spirit was broken from losing
parker in game... (they'll be over that and read to play now)
washington on the road was ok, but the wiz suck so far this year. the
jazz at home was a little less than surprising as the jazz are not a
good road team and are missing too much talent. and the bobs at home by 3 ... big whoop
Also, it is very rare to find teams who lose 6 straight ATS... i caught the clips on dallas to fight this phenomenom and i'm going with the spurs to buck the trend too... otherwise the books would have given them a lower spread.
and nightcapper... you're dead on about that under... when the spurs are missing players they play hella D and drop the clamps... the knicks haven't faced san antonio style D yet, but if the spurs are short on scoring options, you can guarantee they'll keep their opponents from scoring too much either. I'm not going to play the O/U, but i do like that play, i'm just happier playing the spread.

This team that the Spurs have now would only win 22 games this season, in my opinion. I like New York in this situation. It's the New York Knicks vs. Tim Duncan.
New York 96 San Antonio 92
New York +4.5

God damn, you guys just made a real strong case for that under and I like it.
I was all over the Knicks but sometimes when things seem to good to be true - they ARE.
But backing the Spurs is scary as hell right now isn't it? They GOTTA' get huge games from Roger Mason, Micheal Finley and Ime Udoka. And so far I've like what I've seen from the George Hill kid from IUPUI, but is he ready for the serious minutes?
And there's gotta' be something to say about Spur pride, especially at home, but it's just hard to figure out where the offense is going to come from, unless they do just get the job done on the defensive end.

Knicks vs. Spurs under 197.5 (2 units) - the
Spurs are without Manu and Parker, which means they'll have to play
some serious defense to win. New York hasn't faced a good D yet and
the long road trip will combine to cause some shooting problems. The
Spurs are 0-5 ATS to start the season, and also winless at home... both
are very rare for such a good team. I was also leaning on Spurs -4.5
but decided the under was a smarter play.

Knicks seem to easy. I think I will take SA and fade the public. Besides that line is doing some funny things, with the public all over NY the line has moved from 4 to 4.5. The under looks pretty easy too but I can't pick shit in the o/u so I am staying away from that one. GLTA

The Knicks sound easy but 60% are on the Spurs, so go with the easy play.
