Let the points pile up and pound the Chargers, the blowout happened while SD was still getting used to Norv and the game after spygate.  Hopefully the line gets to +3 scores by kickoff.

I THINK THE PATS WILL WIN BY 14 SO EVERYBODY JUMP ON CHARGERS BEFORE THE LINE MOVES TO A 13.5 BECAUSE RIGHT NOW ITS 14.5 WHICH IS A 3 POSSESSION BALL GAME. SHAWN MERRIMAN AND PHILIPS IS NOT GOING TO GIVE BRADY MUCH TIME TO THROW THE BALL. TAKE THE 14.5 AS SOON AS YOU CAN BECUASE THE LINE WILL GO DOWN

Congrats to all GMen and Charger backers. My 2-0 Sat- got crushed on Sun(0-2) w/ carryover parlays and teaser.... ouch- big humble pie-(just pay The Man Shirley)
 
The way the Bolts played D - and w/ P Rivers looking like Bart Starr (altho w/ a distinct Billy Kilmer like flair on many passes)... shit, its hard not to look at takin those 14.5 pts.
 
Bet2win:   I hope that line doesnt move down too quickly .... Im havin trouble pullin the trigger, cause my ass is still sore.
 
Early indication is that precip will not be an issue, but temps look like they'll be in teens.

Brady and co. put up plenty of points in his one. The chargers will be trying to play catch up all game,its gonna be a long day for Rivers!

An interesting development from the chargers d in the 4th quarter last night is they went to a lot of man coverage after playing zone the whole game and really brought pressure.  Most plays saw 5-6 guys rushing the passer.
 
I expect them do a lot of this vs the Pats with Cromartie being glued to Moss as he was to Reggie Wayne.   Remeber, in the earlier game, Cromartie spent most of the game on the bench. 
 
This is probably the best suited defense in the nfl to handle the pats spread attack.  Look for a lot of 3-3-5 sets with 8-9 guys stacked up at the line (corners in press coverage) and 5+ coming on every play.

Pats now 2-7 the last 9 ATS........I don't know if I can go against that trend???  I have only once in that stretch, and lost.....The Giants game.  But I could see that Pats rolling SD and setting up a huge line in the super bowl.....the book would have to throw a huge number out there to scare off money on one of the biggest waggering days of the year..........I almost hope they kill SD and GB/NYG game is ugly, low scoring and poorly played.......NE might open as 17 point favs in the super bowl........

The Line is at 14 right now. SD is banged up, The Pats continue to roll. They haven't coved that much ATS lately and believe they do here. Worse case, tease it 7 to -7 and take the Pats to the Super Bowl.

Congrats to the Chargers and their victory

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Chargers but just wondering if they would be here if not for the 2yd line int by Manning or the fumble by Harrison in the Red Zone? But that is part of the game and you cannot take that away from the Chargers.

It's obvious that the Colts defense was not in this that game at all. I mean Voleck comes in cold for an injured Rivers, LT on the sideline with a bruised knee, and Gates playing injured and they still drive down the field for a TD.

The key to this game IMO if the banged up Chargers can heal for this game and play like they did in Indy they should keep it within reach. If not and bad weather rolls in for this game you would have to think the Pats in a blowout but that's just my opinion.

Not ready for this one yet I'll be back closer to game time.

IMO..The line is about right.  After LT, Rivers and Gates all get the thumbs up, the line should drop to 13. Great number for teaser bets......

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK, THE OVER 49 WILL HAPPEN ONLY IF THE CHARGERS SCORE 21 BECUASE THE PATS WILL PUT UP BIG NUMBERS.   MY PICK IS

Pats to the Dance   Chargers are beat up, that was a Hard hitting game in Indy my friends   I really don't like the spread at 14 going to wait and see how much it drops in the next couple days.  I really like the Pats to cover anything under 14 here.  And the over is tempting but don't think I'm going to touch it, because if you bet the under (which I'd be leaning toward) then you can't really enjoy the game.

You have to admit my friend although we are both Dolphin fans 4 life and the Pats are a rival team you cannot help but think that this Pats team are simply unstoppable.

They have been down by points this season and still come back to win. That my friend is a the kind of team we Dolphins will need to compete against these Pats twice a year in years to come.

But Pats covering ats in this game is another story..........

New to the thread...MUCH respect to Irish, Big D, Lefty, Hunted, Colonel, Patsgrl, Hawk, Scorp, Obes, and the others that I may have forgotten.  I have been following now for about 3 years and it has been a pleasure capping along with each of you.

I do have a question which arose after this weekend's game between the Pats and the Jags.  The OVER for my local was at 51.  As you all know the final was 31-20.  I had taken the OVER which I thought was a PUSH.  When I went to square up he informed me that a PUSH on an OVER or UNDER play goes to the house along with the juice.  Can anyone that uses locals confirm, if not, no worries?

My local would love to take any type of juice from me but he is nice enough to go with a push in that situation. My side plays are also no juice if it's a push.

But some locals do charge juice for push plays fortunately mine don't.
