Colonel - interesting points about Indy, and I can agree as a Colt playoff fan last year, happily one of the successful Colts/under prognosticators. San Diego may surprise us here, nobody expects 1 and 2 to both lose in the AFC Divisionals again, just like nobody expected a lower seed AFC team to rise up and win/cover the Super Bowl with the under last year, but it happened (Indy last year as #3, Pitt year before as #6)...tough to pick the Pat/Jax game with all the public influence (was it shocking to anyone that Jax beat Pitt but failed to cover?), but it the Pats do make it back to the big dance, they will have earned it beating two quality teams, but i think the last few games of the regular season exposed some weaknesses the good coaches lining up to play them can exploit...as with last year, i will take my losses like a man, but i am picking against the Pats.
Don't think the NFC has the mettle to compete, so again this year the Super Bowl will be decided in the AFC Title Game, but don't write off any of our four finalists yet. I just posted in the "is it true?..." thread that Indy got no respect last year, and look what happened, so who is now getting no respect this year of the AFC superpowers? Exactly, enough that I bet some poker winnings on them (or else another bad beat story to tell (lol), but agreed, I am on a draw here and clearly not the favorite). Don't pick who everyone else picks - that is no fun!
Does anyone else think it is funny that it is cheaper to bet a SB prop on the Pats now than it was last week? Some wacky line moves, reading into them for what value I can grab. Seems to me that the lines on the other challengers should be made attractive to get money on them so the bookies can feed their families - wasn't the case before the Giants/Pats game or even before WildCard weekend, but now it is, as the public loves the rested bye teams. I'm gonna rock the boat and hope I don't get all wet.
Everybody has their eye on the Manning vs Manning matchup - maybe in the Super Bowl in another 4 years, but not yet. But don't tell me eyes aren't on who does better in this year's playoffs - Eli's drafting team, the Bolts, or his trade team, the Giants. Should be a discussion this weekend in Indy for sure. Who will take a Manning brother cover parlay this Sunday? I digress.
Defense wins championships, and both Indy and San Diego have em. Sure, Rivers is the wildcard, but he is a lot better than Dilfer! (so is my paperboy). Looking forward to three great AFC playoff games next two weeks, rooting for no-respect Norv to finally earn what Dungy and Cowher got last 2 years - a ring.
Bolts ML and the over (am I kidding?) - no - yikes! LT finally validates that he is the heart and soul. The Indy money will split on the total, but any SD money will chase the under. I don't favor the total with any type of lock, just may as well dream big if I'm backing David vs. Goliath. But as Chargers_LT posted up top, these two always play it close. Peyton will win another one, but not this year.
Fly Hi - GL to us all

I will accept any and all public ridicule if the Bolts get their doors blown off this weekend.
