If Ricky Williams plays I think they will cover the Points.  They won't be able to stop him all game and that will open up some passing for Miami.  If no Williams, no play for Miami here.

agree with hungy on ricky williams.....him playing will open up the passing routes....the only problem is that miami's passing game ain't all that....still leaning on taking the points if it stays at +16

I don't know guys - Williams wasn't even a standout in the Canadian football league. Last weeks loss was because of Pittsburghs O-LIne. They will get it together even without Holmes and Troy P. 16 points are alot - I would go for the over 41 or a teaser with Steelers -9 and Over 34 because Pittsburgh tends to not cover large point spreads.

Chatman is questionable with a sprained ankle. According to reorts in the local papers and talk radio shows, Ricky is in shape and has looked good in practice. I personally expect him to see a decent amount of action. As a Dolphins fan, I very rarely bet on them, but I think that 16 may be too many here.

Right.  There's no reason to think a defense that is allowing less than 80 yards per game and has given up 2 rushings TDs (that's right TWO) all season would be able to stop a week-smoking holistic-healing running back who hasn't played but 1 game in the past 2 years.

I usually stay away if the spread is this big, only exception is if it was N.E., but I think Miami covers on this one. Ricky Williams may be rusty, but I think it helps Miami score a bit more than usual. Im not saying anything close where the final score is just by a field goal, just not 16 points.

steelers are way to tough at home. had a couple of bad weeks against terrible teams but way to good at home against the fins. big ben goes off again.

Pitt's No. 2 rushing offense against Miami's No. 32 rushing defense...how is Miami going to score?  Miami can not throw either...Pitt should cover.

Ricky Williams is only hungry cuz he smokes a bowl before the game and gets the munchies.  Other than that he is four years past his prime and wayyy too baked to know what's going on.  Going to do some serious research behind this game because I have been getting MURDERED on Monday night games the past three weeks...and I've been teasing the games as well.  Early thoughts are Pittsburgh at home -16...we'll see though

Ricky Williams is not even a factor here...why is everyone bringing him up like he is going to make a difference?  Just a question...and real data other than Ricky was great in his prime.  Seriously, can Ricky make a difference in this game?...I dont think so...big spread though, but I have had a decent weekend so I am playing 1 unit on Pitt -16

i say if philly wins tonight , take miami & the points tommorrow ....
they will want to try and show everyone they dont suck either

just seems like that's something a team could feed off for inspiration/motivation

Ok, looking at this game, the line opened at -16 and really hasn't moved much. Now I don't know if this is b/c everyone waited to bet on the Sunday games before betting this one (like I know a lot of bettors do) or if it's b/c Vegas believes this line is a fair one and the public is willing to take -16.
 
Now I must say that this line is very high but unlike the Eagles/Pats game which I predicted that the Eagles would cover, this line doesn't surprise me seeing that Pitt came off a bad loss to the Jets and Miami came off a very hard fought disappointing loss against the Eagles if people remember they had a 7-0 lead and forced 3 TOs and coulda won the game....so with that all being said
 
Pittsburgh -16 seems to be the play here, although I would love it if I could somehow get it to -14 (although I know that's highly unlikely)
