#5 Posted: 10/9/2012 8:27:26 AM East coast, West coast thing, maybe the SeaChickens cover? Brady hot, Seattle has little offense but pretty darn good defense!
More research and thought needed ......... |

#8 Posted: 10/10/2012 1:14:08 AM Seattle at home is tough especially with the defense they have, but whether you have the 12th man or not, Brady and company find a way to win and cover. Brady, Ridley, Gronk, Welker, Loyd need I say more. A running game averaging over 125yds a game and a passing attack that is better than most.
Brady and co. -3.5

#12 Posted: 10/10/2012 11:04:05 PM I take my pick back, I dont know what I was thinking...probably the concensous scared me. I just realized NE is the correct bet. SEA is tough at home sure...but this spread is simply wrong...don't you think?
This was a similiar spread to the SEA/GB game recently...and NE is far better than GB is this year(and GB still should of covered that game too). So, NE is the correct pick here I look for them to stay hot, even though this is a public bet, I'm not letting it scare me away. I expect NE to blow out the seahawks. Easy winner this should be... |

#13 Posted: 10/10/2012 11:06:43 PM Seattle won't be able to defend against NE will they? NE is too high powered and balanced for Seattle to handle. So, really this spread is ridiculous. Why the books do this sometimes is beyond me. They could make it a little harder on us. lol |

#15 Posted: 10/10/2012 11:27:23 PM Liked the Over at 44. Now have to take 44.5 and seeing it will go to 46-47. Not much rushing in this game. NE is a super passing team and allows a lot of passing points also.

#16 Posted: 10/11/2012 5:44:20 AM This game will be the shocker of the weekend. Any team that can put heat on Brady can beat NE. In 2008 SB NE had the highest scoring team in NFL history, 18-0, Brady had 50 TD passes. He scored one and it took him to the 4th QTR to do it and NE scores 14 total. Super Brady can't stand the heat if Seattle can put up a rush.
I like what Brady said about the Giants (SB46). "But after two of his passes were batted down, Brady said, “It’s like throwing in a forest.”
I like the way Brady always looks at the ref when he gets hit.

#17 Posted: 10/11/2012 6:00:29 AM I don't really look into all the technical aspects of the game, because that's what makes you overthink it. I understand Seattle doesn't allow a lot of points...but they have yet to face a consistent offense like NE. I think NE is the far better team, better offense...and better offenses usually win. Remember Green Bay in recent years? They were an offensive team...and the most dominant. I also just got a nice vision on NE. Easy win here. Just like the other week I started out picking Oakland to cover against Denver on the +6 on the road. Then shortly before gametime I got a vision Denver would blowout oakland...and that's exactly what happened. I have the same feeling/vision here. I see a blowout.
Possible (or likely) scores for this game-
NE- 45 SEA-7
NE-31 SEA-6
NE-27 SEA-10
etc etc...it's gonna be a blowout folks. But still if you got a huge parlay dont darn it up with the spread, take NE ML even though we're sure they will destroy the seahawks at home, it's never wise to get greedy when it's not needed..anything can happen.. |

#18 Posted: 10/11/2012 6:08:46 AM I think the shocker will be when the titans beat pittsburgh. This is because of the false public perception that pitt is a good team and the titans suck. Both teams suck. That's honestly the truth...lolSo it shouldn't be a shocker that the home team wins. But you know how the "public" is. They take beating after beating by the books, and yet they still don't learn. |

#22 Posted: 10/12/2012 11:36:54 AM NE and McDaniels ducks rip off no huddle formula is going to set the bar for NFL offense this year. They are on to something. 12th man at Seattle wont affect them at all. Seachickens Defense will be too tired to keep up. This spread is ridiculous, but the first couple weeks of replacement refs have skewed things a bit, so after this game Seattle will be lower in rankings where they belong.

#24 Posted: 10/12/2012 8:40:40 PM I bet a large wager on the Patriots ML vs. the Bills and hit after the replacement refs were back....
I'm doing the same thing here....
Pats ML.... just an overall better team.... they have a large defensive front so I can't see Lynch breaking through and the rookie qb doesn't scare me after that defense just played against Manning and created turnovers....
I agree, I think it will be a blowout...
I'm going large Pats ML.... I can't see Brady seeing something here he hasn't from the Steelers, Jets, Ravens, and every other great defense he plays
GL TO ALL!
