#4 Posted: 10/12/2011 1:46:39 PM This is a game that should show what the Dolphins are made out of. These are 2 heated rivals of the AFC East and never backs down from each other. If the Dolphins show no sign of life in this one then they all just have given up the season. Personally I would love to have Luck on our team next season but not via the "suck for Luck sweepstakes". As a fan I never want to see my team go 0-16 that is embarrassing.
Fan stuff aside...The Jets should be up and ready for this game at home as they are on a losing streak as well and playing at home on MNF should help them get back on track.
Matt Moore has the start over the injured Henne too bad for Henne as it seems as though he was getting better this season. I'm hoping the bye week gave Moore enough time to get in sync with the offense.
Stated this a lot this season but or defense is just plain terrible. a lot of people are calling for coach Sparano's head but they should question coach Nolan as well.
Being a Dolphin fan makes it tough to suck in when your team is losing... it makes it tougher when you lose to a heated division rival.
We have yet to cover a spread this season I'm not sure if it will start here as these games get normally decided by a field goal or blowouts.
Good luck to all
GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!

#7 Posted: 10/13/2011 2:02:03 PM Dolphins suck behind Nuff Said... Take the Jets they're the more proven team... IMO Teams that suck behind don't usually pull it together on the road against desperate and more talented divisional rival Jets will win by DD...

#10 Posted: 10/15/2011 1:36:48 AM MIA +7.5 (2.5u) - bettin that the Jets will duplicate their play from last year when they got demolished by the Patriots and lost SU as favorites vs. the Fins. This year they face the Fins again after an emotional defeat by the Pats a week earlier. The other stat i like is winless teams (0-4 or worse) are a 22-3 ATS coming off a bye. I'll take the points. Dolphins

#11 Posted: 10/16/2011 4:16:02 AM Jets -9 Jets are easily "best team with worst record" this year, Miami having problems that should have been worked out before season started. Don't expect Miami will win more than 3 games this year, and this is no time to start... |

#13 Posted: 10/16/2011 12:59:53 PM 2 words for you Big D: Andrew Luck
He might be better than Sanchez already
It is so hard to hold on to hope as a Jets fan. For my 34 years as a Jets fan they have found a way to pry hope out of my disappointed hands year after year. Its almost like they know when I am starting to believe in them, and then they dont show up to play. Its like being in a bad relationship, just when you think you have turned the corner, boom, same old Jets
Your plight is similar to mine as a Miami fan Big-D, did you at least get to see the fins win the SB and go undefeated? I arrived 6 years too late to see the Jets win, and im thinking i missed my big chance.
Best of "Luck" to you and your fins
We will always have next year

#17 Posted: 10/16/2011 10:42:19 PM Can't stand to watch Sanchez play.. 2009, people were referring him as talented and bright future.. 2010.. they still said he doesn't know it that's he's the future of nfl's stardom.. I was never impressed.. BUT!!! take the jets at -6.5 against Miami seems really good right now. Jets/Sanchez might have their ups and downs... but playing at home against Miami?? probably the worst team in current NFL?? anytime!!

#21 Posted: 10/17/2011 1:01:05 AM This is a tough game. All emotion and logic points to jets and under. Jets play great defense and mia cant score...Remember a few years back when cleveland would be very not good, more so than usual but play awesome on monday night..hmm
Jax won opening day with luke mcclown. Matt moore is a nobody who should get crushed by a good jets defense right. Remember when jay feely almost beat the undefeated reg season pats on monday night with a 23 pt spread!!!! How bout matt flynn last year against the pats. Mia is actually better against the run but terrible against the pass. Sanchez is a great passer right, with a recent qb rating of 30 against balt. His career he is garbage. Hes not very good. Winless teams (0-4 or worse) are a whopping 22-3 against the spread coming off a bye.
Dolphins are 5-14 ATS after a bye the previous 19 years (Tony Sparano 2-1 ATS).
Tony Sparano is 18-8 ATS on the road.
This one goes over and maybe an outright Mia win. If it was a noon game then mia would be crushed. Monday night brings strange bedfellows. Mia and OV for the large. |

#23 Posted: 10/17/2011 1:59:31 AM I'm leaning Miami +7 and the under 42.5. If Miami covers here it will be a low scoring game due to their lack of offense. Interesting stat some have pointed out that winless teams (0-4) are 22-3 ATS coming off a bye week. I'll take the dog and the under.
