I was happy to see Notre Dame get off the schnide last week with a win to move them to 1-4 (ATS).  I don't think UCLA is that great (see Utah 44-6), but other than that game UCLA has averaged 40 points a game.  Seeing as how Notre Dame has statistically the WORST OFFENSE IN DIVISION ONE, it might be tough for them to score enough to cover this spread.  If UCLA cans core 30, they'll cover.

Keeping this one simple:  Notre Dame has averaged 9.2 pts/game this year and their opponents have averaged 33.2 pts/game.  I think that UCLA holds them to those 9 points at home and scores 40+, but then again I also thought that the Bruins/Utah game was a money in the bank also, and they lost straight up.  I just don't think that Notre Dame has it together this year and won't be surprising anyone taking UCLA and covering.  UCLA needs a big win to get them pumped to play CAL next weekend.  What a perfect opportunity.  UCLA-44    Notre Dame-9
