#7 Posted: 12/25/2012 9:45:13 PM MAC is probably overrated but I don;t think it matters when they are playing lower echelon west coast teams since the quality of opposition is roughly equivalent. I track several criteria and as of today, the BG dog looks like a play ( my numbers have them winning it SU by 17 -14 score - 3 pt margin ). Consensus numbers at SI are on SJS by 65% which also suggests a medium play on BG. BG also has one of the best sack % / pass attempts in FBS which means they can really get after the QB. Even good QB's become very average when facing pressure defenses which is what BG will bring. BG for a medium to large play at +7.

#9 Posted: 12/26/2012 10:25:23 PM The dogs are holding their own.The teams with the best D have been winning.BG has had games where their D has given up 7-3-0-8-10-12 and they're getting 7.I really like BG in this one.

#16 Posted: 12/27/2012 10:50:58 AM is anyone taking the weather into consideration? I live about 20 minutes from the stadium and it is bitter cold and VERY windy. Can San Jose St play well in the cold? probably not used to it like Bowling Green. It is so windy that passing is going to be a problem. I like BG and under |

Central Michigan put a dent in that theory - You must have meant Ball State since Ohio has not played their bowl game yet
