Must go with Fresno State, even minus the 16+ points! Fresno State a full-blown powerhouse vs. the point spread! No less than 10-1 against the spread home and away! Air Force 1- 6 vs. spread home and away! Failed to cover - 6, -7, -9, -10, +7 or even - 22 against lowly Hawaii (2-10!). And Fresno State crushed Hawaii 45-10...and covered the minus 32 point spread! And Fresno State holds a massive advantage on offense! Will trust in rising superstar QB Derek Carr (3290 YDs and 32 TDs) to launch a military-style attack against Air Force...and put this one away by 22+ points! Fresno State minus 22 points over Air Force! BOL (Will post Gold Sheet's analysis when I get the Gold Sheet tonight)

Now, must use extreme caution with this game, and go very "light" with any Fresno St. wagers. No longer a "blowout play"! Gold Sheet reports the following: Air Force 23 at Fresno St. 45 "Special game for new Fresno HC Tim DeRuyter, a former fly boy, and ex-d.c. at AFC, and close friend of Falc HC Troy Calhoun. No reason to expect his rested and rampaging Bulldogs (10-1 vs. line) to slow down vs. what is obviouly a non-vintage Force edition that's dropped 6 of its last 7 vs. number. Surely, DeRuyter will know a thing or two about slowing the Falc option." Perfect example of good use of Gold Sheet's value. Was shocked to read that both head coaches are "close friends" with each other! Unknown if Fresno State HC would "slow down" with any lead against Air Force...and prevent a blowout of his friend's team! Happy to read this comment in Gold Sheet, even if Fresno St. does win 45 to 23. But can't take chance with "friends" playing football with each other! Best of Luck to all this weekend!

It's not as if this is Tom Brady. Fresno must score when it can all game long. This analysis seems off imo. Colonel - I'm pretty sure that trend doesn't include many "wins" while giving up 35 points in Fresno's history... Or 2 weeks rest before the next game. FS is having pretty special season after bringing in a new coach. --> Meanwhile Air Force looks terrible this year.

AF was playing for a bowl bid at home last week vs a horrible team. did they show up? NO! they cost me some money, 0 pass attempts. sloppy game on both sides of the ball. what is AFs motivation this week? they cant advance any further than the bowl invite they locked up barely beating hawaii last week. fresno is playing for mac west title & a bowl bid coming off the bye. the offense is going to roll & AF cant score..this is a no brainer. fresno is my biggest bet of the year this week. LOAD UP FELLAS, BOL Duke

Had no idea at all that HC's being friends is common! I made out big with Fresno State too! And was shocked to see Fresno, like you said, go right to work and run up hugh numbers in the 1st half! Thought I was waching a lost cause! Got lucky with that one, as FiveDimes.eu has no way to cancel our bets. But was feeling bad when I put up that post, and then read about the coaches. Came back (wasn't needed) to try and "save" other's from my post. You're handicapping is spot on, and BOL in the future!
