Husker defense is crazy slow. History will show they struggle mightily with mobile QB. Ohio St is down a RB but with Braxton Miller it will not matter. Furthermore see prime time television games. It is a common reoccurrence for Pelini's squad to come out flat time and time again. Ohio st took it to Neb last year in Lincoln and if it were not for Braxton getting injured the game would not have been close. Give me the addition of Urban Meyer and I lay the Chalk. Will be double digit victory easy.

nebraska stopping a running qb is a mess that it def true but id be stunned if nebraska doesn't get to 24 or so here.  The question really will be can miller throw still?  I mean assuming he gets his 20 carries for 100-150 yds and 2 tds but what can he do in the air.  Good god think if he doesn't go off running as usual (as a husker fan that makes me way to excited yet extremely unlikey) what will this game look like.  I live in columbus ohio so i see all of both of there games and neb has the far superior RB's/WR's.  I don't think OSU could of had a better match up for there d last week with no real threat of anything besides Bell, believe me nebraska will throw a lot at that defense to defend come saturday and i just don't really think osu has a very good def.  This game to me will likely go one of 2 ways.
1. Miller goes off and has a career day and Neb has 3 or 4 turnovers 35-20 OSU

OR

2. Miller gets his rushing yds and still can't throw.  nebraska's offense makes plays and takes it home 31-27.

OR the huge the homer in me hoping we somehow hold miller under 100 rushing and don't turn the ball over....then we roll here 34-13. (still honestly not a big believer in osu's offense)

Personally, I would not touch it.  Nebraska has a good offence but turns the ball over, very unpredictable.  Their D is getting better and will continue in conference play, but OSU has the speed and athletes to hurt them.  Pelini has trouble stopping mobile QB’s, and his teams have trouble coming out tight in big games.

OSU on the other does not have a stellar D but Urban has a good offence behind Braxton Miller. I am still not a believer in this team yet, take Miller away and the offence is shut down.  Game is way too tough, better values out there.

If the spread continues to move lower I would be a lean on OSU -1 or better

Thought I liked home-town Bucks, but after further ado, am switching to visiting Corn Dogs! Defensive struggle in first half as Huskers prevail. GOODBYE COLUMBUS! NEBRASKA 30, OHIO STATE 14.

no play for me but a few nuggets that would lead me to lean on the bucks if the line was 3 or less

Revenge Revenge Revenge. Braxton will not forget about last year and this D will be up for the challenge.

Urbz is 24-5 in rivalry games and although the huskers are new to the B1G I will call this a rivalry game.

The Bucks are starting to gel as a team and although many a layperson may look at the UAB game and think that Ohio State is overrated, I see that as a classic look ahead spot to the B1G opener on the road against Sparty last week.

lol typical osu fan.....well urban meyer has won 2 titles so he's going to make our players 10 points better every game and well win a national title in a year because thats what he did at Florida so were entitled to the next one!

To me this looks like a heartbreaker (for me) with a lot of scoring.  On one hand the Buckeye defense won't match up well vs. the Husker O, especially on the perimeter.  On the other, Miller will break a few big runs, but his ability to extend plays will give him open receivers that normally wouldn't be there.

I think karma comes back to haunt Nebraska and we make enough mental errors for OSU to win and cover.

OSU 35, NU 30

I won't bet this one, but I like the over better than the spread.

Ohio State on the offensive side of the ball is NOT explosive at all, but they are top five defensively.  Nebraska is solid offensively but as an earlier poster stated, they are a tad bit slow defensively.  Not fooling with a side here, however I do see value in the Total that I think is 8 points to high for this matchup.

With that said, put me down for Under the Total for a nickel Alex Trebek please.  Thanks!

As a Husker fan I will not touch this game, but something interesting to look at.  Nebraska holds the advantage in the vast majority of statistical categories and also holds the edge in strength of schedule.

Games are not won on paper, yet this horrible QB we have that everyone loves to hate is has TD/INT ratio of 11/1 and holds a 68% completion percentage this year.  I truly believe he is the wildcard in this game, if he resorts to his old self (as he did vs UCLA) we will lose.  Yet, if he plays a second half like he did vs. Wisky (down 17 back against the wall) it is anyone’s game and you have to like the points.

Was an early lean on OSU but I am getting more convinced the Big Red has a shot.  I am a homer so take this write up for what it is worth.  Good luck to all

If nebraska can hang in the first quarter and not turn the ball over I believe they win this one.

Both of these teams are unimpressive and inconsistent. I wouldn't bet this with your money. Lot of better games out there.
