Yep, and its all about the QB play which we don't have much of !  Our D got gashed by Cam Newton that's for sure, look for Ingram and Richardson to do the same.  Death Valley will be loud but I don't see LSU covering 6.5, maybe 10 if we get 3 or 4 turnovers ?  With both teams coming off a bye week it should be even more intense !  Big game in the SEC west, with Bama having Auburn left to play !

Must win for both teams. Ingram and richardson should do a lot of damage, Mcelroy scares the crap out of me though. And I don't like how Bama has been handling SEC rivals on the road ( Barely escapes Arkansas and losing to SC ). No play for me. Leaning Alabama.

Covers has moved this game to 8 pm Eastern ?  This is a 2:30 Central game.  If the line were to reach LSU +10 I'd take the Tigers, but not anything less.

BKG, you and I both wish this game was at 8 pm eastern time AND I feel pretty certain if it were, the line would be a point, maybe point and a half less.  only way you will ever see 10 is to tease, which is what I may do.  Kinda like the Tigers + 13.5 and under 51.  Love the second part of that tease way more than the first part, but no way would I take bama + .5.  Just a thought if you want double digits.  peace out....

Bama does not have a Cam Newton at QB for LSU's D to account for.  They can shut down Ingram & Richardson and more importantly they can come after McElroy as he isn't going to run away from anybody.

No, not a fig newton...(but mississippi state could have had for $180,000)  But a real heisman trophy winner in Mark Ingram.

I'll give you Petterson vs Julio is going to be tough.

Not sure if we should take much from these stats...yet Saban is 6-2 SU in this game (4-1 with LSU ; 2-1 with Bama).  Albeit he is 5-3 ATS (3-2 with LSU ; 2-1 with Bama). 

The one thing I do deduct carries a little weight is that when Saban's team is favored in this game, he is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS.  Tells me when he has the better team he usually wins and covers.  Also the visitor is 5-3 SU and 6-2 ATS.

ALABAMA  - 6.5

These teams meet after their bye week again. Last year the line was Bama - 7 and won by 9. One thing to point out is that Ingram is only a Junior and has matured into this offense more and more. McElroy and the rest of the offense will be studying the Auburn game and see their weakness and I'm sure that LSU will be looking at the S. Carolina game. I personally think that Bama will run all over LSU as they have the better Offensive line.. Bama will not worry tooo much of rtheir passing game as LSU is ranked #113 in passing yards and will be able to focus in shutting down their run game. If in any case that LSU is going to try through the air, Bama at #17 against the pass is more than capable and I see a few turn overs by LSU. Too many weapons on Bama squad for LSU to handle.
