Okay, Boston College should not be an 8 point favorite in Raleigh. First of all the Pack are 6-1 ats off a double digit ats loss playing with revenge against an opponent off of back to back straight up wins. Boston College fits snugly into this trend.
 
Last year BC beat the Pack 37-17 with a NFL quality quarterback. No such guy under center this year, and the Pack the defense to exploit that. Their numbers may be a little skewed because they have had a killer schedule and are battle tested because of it. They have already played South Carolina, East Carolina, Clemson, and South Florida. So naturally their overall numbers will not look as good as BC's on paper, but they are every bit as strong a team or better than BC this year. teams usually respond well to being blown out especially at home. South Florida is a powerhouse however, and BC is not. Therefore they should not be up against a number as high as the 8 presented to the public. I don't think that Tom O'Brien will lose to his former team two years in a row, especailly without Ryan calling the signals.
 
I am all over the Wolfpack in this game.

B.C.'s defense has only given up 3 TD's NCST. has given up 15.
The only game in which BC hasen't won by 21 points was the loss to GT. BC can put up points,
.NCST. no offense or defense.

NCSU SUCKS...plain & simple.  I know they upset ECU, but that is an interstae rivalry game.  NCSU is ridduled w/ injuries of key positions, QB in particular, they're down to their 3rd string here.  Don't be afraid to lay the chalk on this one.  I'm going to take BC -4 half time line, so I can move onto other games, but I assure you, the overall -8 play will be fine too!

Neither offense looks impressive on paper.  I think BC's defense can keep NCST from getting to close.  I like a two game teaser...

The angle to think about here is one no one has mentioned yet.  NC St is coached by Tom O'Brien, who 2 years ago was coach at BC.  He knows all the upperclassmen well on that team.  One of these years he is going to beat his former team.  Will it be this year?  Not sure, but no way would I lay 8 pts on that team on the road.

Leave this game alone. BC looks like the play, but have't been away from home in a long time and have a big spred to cover. By the end, they will be happy to get away with a win and won't be thinking about the blowout, trust me.

All that I know is that the spread went down to -7.5 for BC with ALL of the money on them (65%). I am so all over NC State!

One of the easiest picks this week.  Boston College has played NOBODY yet this season.  The one legitimate opponent they played (Georgia Tech) they lost to.

I am rolling with my dear friend Mr. Johnson here.  I think O'Brien will get his troop ready for his ex team and keep this one close.  The one thing I am a little worried about is that terrible offense but still.  Take the points at home.

All I got to say is you have some backward information on this game. I'm teeling you now that OU isnt even looking past this game for a reason, because they know its going to be tooth and nail the whole way through. I may be new on here, but I got the nuts to say to you that I would bet me never returning here if TCU doesnt give them a panic and cover if not beat em straight up.
