UCLA wins this one. Western KY hasn't seen a defense like UCLA, and they have no answer for Love. I think UCLA comes out strong in this one, especially after the scare they got from A/M. They don't want another hairy game again, and they are good enough to make sure that doesnt happen against West KY. That being said, 12.5 is a lot to cover especially against a team that can shoot the three like WKY. UCLA probably wins by 10 or 11. This will set up a great game between UCLA and WVA-which in my opinion is absolute crapshoot.
UCLA 1H -6.5 UCLA -10 (bought 2) B/C i agree w/ Kong on West KY being able to shoot the lights out and get a backdoor cover.

Allright, I'm not trying to be a hater, but if you think UCLA wins by 10 or 11 and the spread is UCLA -12 why buy two points and then take the Bruins at -10 which you just said was a push? Why not just take WKU or buy two points to get them at +14? Anyway, UCLA has trouble scoring, Love is the only consistent threat (but he's a pretty good one) but they play lockdown D. WKU can shoot and score but doesn't have the defensive presence that A&M could bring. I think the way to beat UCLA is play tough and physical and hope you eek out more points than they do (like A&M almost did). I don't think WKU can play that way so I don't give them much of a chance here... Unless they shoot 50% from the 3 and 54% from the floor like they did against Drake. Unfortunately for the Toppers, UCLA plays MUCH MUCH better D than the Drake 'Dogs do so they will likely be limited to more earthly numbers. Still 12 points is a lot of points for a UCLA team that struggles with its offense and is still working M'Bah A Moute (I'm sure I butchered that spelling) into the system. I like the Bruins by less than 10 with Brazleton and Lee shooting enough to keep the game close, but not enough to win.

WOW...a lot of Western Kentucky love. I know this is March and all, but UCLA wins this one handily. UCLA will not be stuck in a half court game and will be able to get a couple of guys loose...Collison and Shipp come to mind. To many ifs for WK, like if they can hit the 3 and if Shipp continues to shoot like 0% from in front of the basket and if WK can find someone to stop Love.
UCLA takes a big lead at the half and rides it to a cover.

UCLA 1st half defense 27.42 points allowed 20th in the country
WKU 1st half defense 30.77 points allowed 118th in the country
Level of competition that those numbers were compiled against not even close. UCLA had games against Texas, Maryland (which was ranked at the time) Michigan State, Davidson, and the PAC-10.
Wetern Kentucky had games against Gonzaga, and Tennessee, losing both. Neither one of those teams comes near UCLA defensively. Tennessee is a program built upon outscoring the opponent, UCLA is built on stopping the opponent. Ben Howland has seen it all before, and he will have his troops ready to play tonight, as the roll in the 1st half, and get a lead of 10 to take into the 2nd half.
The level of competition is uneven and the talent of the Bruins will show in th enumber of missed threes by WKU. UCLA has some of the best on the ball defenders in the nation.

Sweet 16 - Western Kentucky has already covered the spread, once as a dog, once as the favorite (handily). WK is 8-0 ATS on neutral sites. UCLA was barely able to squeak by A&M. Now WK is a 12 point dog. I think the smart play here is WK. While UCLA will pull it out, the final score is UCLA 65, WK 58.

I like Western Kentucky a lot, especially Courtney Lee, but UCLA is just out of their league at this point. Close at half, but UCLA pulls away to a 16 point win. Taking UCLA -12 for $3300. Cash It!

The line has moved down to -11.5. If the public knows what's good for them they will look into the eyes of WKY's coach and this thing will be down to -10 by game time. GO HILLTOPPERS!

Last solid game UCLA played was at ASU after that its been tough games against lower competition. UCLA better not lose this game but I think that it will be close. WKU and the points
