Traditionally, I have an embarrassing record betting on this track, as well as fantasy NASCAR implications.  Fading me on this track is not the worse idea in the world.  A few years ago, all 4 of my drivers wrecked in the last 5 laps...3 of them wrecked on the last lap racing for 17th place.  But this year has been very profitable so far, so I'm going to keep plugging away.

2 plays I love right out of the gate.

Juan -105 over Jamie
Mears -110 over Labonte

I'm going to be on Mears all year if they post these type of matchups.  Also, I love Juan on these flat tracks.  Like the value over Jamie here.

How well do you like the Mears/Labonte matchup. I hate this track and hate 5dimes odds on everything it has put out so far.

Maceo

Mears is a better driver right now...has a better car right now. Not guaranteeing a win...but those odds are as good as it gets. If they post Mears/labonte the rest of the year I believe Mears wins that matchup 70% of the time. Even if it loses, it's still a great bet considering the odds.

Be careful with Mears.....He has only finished 4 out of the last 8 races at Pocono.

is there anychance mears was a start and park at pocono last year?  He went out at lap 36 and 40 last year with the same listed reason of brakes  There are quite a few other start and parkers with that same listed reason

I actually turned a profit at Pocono!!!   First time ever!!!  Played the Mears-Labonte matchup big...paid off.  Hoping the books don't pick up on how good Mears can be this year moving forward.
