To Win: (1) - Newman +3000 - Not feeling terribly great about this pick anymore, but he's got a great history here the past couple years. (1) - Truex +5000 - Gut feeling that he's better than 50:1. Matchup: (3) Allmendinger +140 over Kurt Busch. Making this wager more against Kurt than for AJ. I think he's going to use up a bunch of his car early since having to move to the back of the field. AJ probably finishes 16-20th. Good luck all.

It certainly wasn't pretty, but my boy finished JUST outside of the top 10 in his first race in a Gen 6 car. Knew Kurt was going to be fast, and I thought he would have put it in the wall earlier than he did, but still got him pegged.
