2-3, losing week last week. YTD now 21-23, down 5.9 units. Trying something a little different this week. My picks have been mediocre at best obviously, but the units are slipping away. So I've got to pick better or not play so much juice. My average juice is only between -125 and -130, but you can see what a .500 record is doing to my bank roll. So tonight I'm working with:
Hamlin +100 over Kurt Busch and Burton -110 over Kurt Busch
Loving both of these lines. Kurt has had a great bounce back season, but has never been super at Darlington and was midpack in practice. Burton was 2nd in Happy Hour, Hamlin 4th. Avg. finish last 4 trips-Hamlin 6th, Burton 12th, Kurt 20th.
Martin +115 over Newman-Should be too strong cars tonight. Last 4 Martin avgs 10.5, Newman 13. Martin was junk in the 1st practice but must have found something he liked in Happy Hour, he was 5th fast and had a big average but ran only 7 laps.
Kenseth +100 over Edwards-17 looks strong this weekend, on the pole compared to his usual 30th starting spot and won last night. Should be another close one, trusting the no juice approach.
Montoya +110 over Reutimann-The 00 had to get the back up car out after damage in P1, it didn't look too great in Happy Hour. Although he did qualify just in front of JPM. Reuto has had a rough go the last couple races and Juan continues to show improvement this year.
We'll see how the new strategy works out. Bottom line is still need to pick more winners. GL to everyone today, I'll be heading out shortly for T Ball and then a beer festival. Quite the combination. But won't be back till near green flag time.

5-0, making for a Darlington sweep of the weekend! That helps the cause tremendously. YTD now 26-23, still down that .9 unit but will be looking to break back to the plus side at the 600.
