Question

On or about 8/13/2012&#xD;&#xA;I found a longshot at suffolk downs(technical express)Race 2 #4,Im happy as a kid in a candystore,The horse is 34-1 with 15 minutes to post,I bet 20.00 to show,and i go to the bathroom.When i come out to watch the race,the horse is going into the gate at 6-1 odds,can somebody please explain how this could have happened,the horse was drawing no money,and now all of a sudden somebody bets the barn on it?Well anyway the horse runs second,and i make some chumpchange with my show bet.Im calling the cops the next time.

Miniscule pools at tracks like Suffolk.&#xD;&#xA;Also probably only hundreds of dollars bet with 15MTP.&#xD;&#xA;Not a surprising result whatsoever.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;HB

Yeah, I have seen this before, even at bigger tracks, about 80% of the pools are bet in final 10 minutes, close to 50% in final 3 minutes....

If you win 50% of favorites you lose.If you hit 25% of longshots you win.But thanks for the information guys,maybe next time i wont take it so personal.

You also have to take into consideration what you were doing in the bathroom and how long you were in there. What you may have been reading at the time and how many courtesy flushes you may have administered to yourself. Haha!

Yeah those smaller tracks can swing sideways with a $100 bet, especially with. 30-1 who has probably not taken any money yet. Keep hitting them bombs.
