#5 Posted: 8/25/2012 12:11:42 PM 5th at 15/1. god i continue to hate napravnik. not her fault but she just rubs me the wrong way she has no smooth rythym. had to fade the pletch other than the two bullets i didn't like him. enough with the 2 to pull the trigger at a nice price. one unit gone

i realize this year romans is 0/7 debut beyond a mile. not a reflection of his overall skill there. maybe he hasn't had one yet capable. long series of drills for this guy and the blood says long and longer. worth a shot for me wide, wide open here.

considered 9, 12, 13. i know the 12 is up and down and he fell apart last time he jumped up the ladder. 2/3 races solid with asmussen and that last class jump was round two turns. fastest horse IF he fires and can handle the 7/8ths.

15/1 ml. slightly smaller play. like the drills relative to the others. trainer solid first out and debut beyond a mile. ton of firsters in here. blood here is potentially very strong. 12/13 sibs won and four of them won their debut. one of them banked 375K on the lawn. value worth a play for me.

5/2 ml. fading baffert's chalkie. 2 unit play. recency, late speed, pattern. even if baffert's gal fires her best thinking this gal can sit a stalk and pounce trip and put forth a pretty solid effort here.

10/1 ml. plenty of obvious horses here but the thing is most want to get out front and bang heads. rolling with the 8 to have a shot from off the pace. like the pattern, late speed, and distance/stamina. if one of the pace horses freaks i don;t win. if it melts down a bit i have a good shot.

Pick 4
2 4 6 3 8 3 7 8 9 5 6 7 8 10
2 bucks costs you 240 . more horses than I would prefer but i don't see anything odds on maybe one or two races a winner at 3/1 or below but at i see price potential in the two races for males. so i'll roll with that and see what happens. pool size guaranteed at a mil so two decent prices and it could be decent.

damn players whacked him down
like how he improved dramatically with the trainer switch and based on figs he was simply the fastest horse. was hoping they would bet the 9 and 13 a lot more but oh well. godamnit should be 2/3 right now.

#17 Posted: 8/25/2012 4:18:45 PM just got back and saw Chad's chalkie win and the 4 was 2nd. damn i was so close to dropping Tapitsfly and lowering the cost of that Pick4 and she ran terribly late. i debated back and forth but she does have some big races but i knew that extra sixteenth was the main issue for her.

#18 Posted: 8/25/2012 4:45:27 PM yeah my 2 unit play ran up the track. she broke terribly, swung out 9 wide to make a run then wobbled around and tried to go inside
alive in the Pick 4 to 3 7 8 9 and 5 6 7 8 10. jesus come on can we get at least one price in these NYRA late pick 4's?

sorry about that if you were on it. very unusual for one of Chad's horses to go whack job and sleepwalk out of the gate. such a solid improving pattern. i'm not into media crap but they just showed Chad raving about her as well. head scratcher.

#22 Posted: 8/25/2012 5:17:30 PM 3rd in a photo at 11/1 with the 8. knocked out of the pick 4 with the 1 winning
made money on the race. julien leparoux was locked and loaded with plenty of horse with that 8 and he got blocked a couple times late in the lane. jesus i don't like to girl but that 8 should have absolutely won that race.

not today boys. i was correct that the two big ones for the males could bring some prices but no pick 4 today.
