There was no love affair with this horse anyway. Was it the trainer ? the jockey or the owner ? Not like the build up with Smarty or Big Brown.

Well, the jockey Mario Gutierrez has my utmost respect.

I dont think this young man understands how hard it will be, to be in a position like this again.

Guys a class act.

As for the trainer I think he was the victim of a witch hunt[to an extent]
I believe Ill have another was as clean as they come.
Not saying the guys a saint,but all trainers have violations of some sort at one time or another.

Mikey, apparently there is no bandage, no rap, no anything.....he just can't "race/run".......

Yeah...and that's legit, if the injury isn't life threatening. Let's see how bothered he looks.

ok, yeah I can't say I know enough about horse injuries....I think 10 years ago, this horse would've run.......but maybe thats a good thing


my stupid comment was more about him leading the parade

Ivey......not stupid at all. Sometimes you can take a chance and race them again, but a smart owner won't do that to the horse. Maybe that's what IHA conections are thinking.

They run sore horses a lot. whicvh is just plain wrong.
