1st RACE
#1 Puzzling doesn't look fast enough
#2 - Inflation hedge - has good early speed to get in a good position. Decent sheet number. Took the drop to maiden claimers to get her first win. Usable, but likely not my top choice.
#3 Loure - probably favorite but not going to give much credibility to the race she won last out. It was taken off the turf and was a 3 horse race and the last place horse finished 32 lengths back. Still, her debut on turf was sold and she has early speed. Will definitely be in the mix.
#4 Kathern's Kitten - after a 75 day layoff, she caught two consecutive races moved off the turf...seems to like distance and I expect an improved effort, Has the 2nd best single sheet number in the field and that came at Saratoga last year. Also has a solid sheet number in Feburary at Gulfstream. One of three 4 year olds in the race. Maker hits at 19% at the Spa and with Leparoux aboard, the combo hits at 26%. A lot to like.
#5 Miss Laa di Da - 4 year old needs to get in solid early position instead of laying far back but seems like she can run all day. Best single sheet number in the field and she cuts back. Major player.
#6 Speedy's Gal - not as fast as the 2,3,4 and 5 but is faster than the others. Moves up but not sure she will love the added distance. Could hit the ticket but I will probably take a lean against.
#7 Wickie's Flame - 2nd off the shelf and back to the distance she broker her maiden but I don't think she is fast enough.
#8 Aquarius Star - 138 day layoff for this European 4 year old who has two US races under her belt. Trainer not good off the bench. Sheet numbers are not horrific but tough to think she can step her game to a lifetime best coming off the layoff.
