mizzoo-13.5(bought 1 -130) 2 units... almost the same matchup as last week when i played them against kstate on the road and they rolled. only diff here is mizzoo is at home. i dont expect this game to be close at all...
mich st +3 2 units... think this is a great spot for mich st as they host penn st. i believe penn st is the better team overall but not by much. they have there flaws and on the road i think they have a few more. mich st will be playing as if this is there superbowl. should be tough sledding for both offenses but i think mich st gets the last laugh...
northwestern +7.5 hook 2 units... the cats are at home playing against a solid team in wisconsin. wisky loves to run the rock and run the rock some more. i have played wisky a few times this year and every time they were matched against a team without a solid defensive front and without a solid defense overall. this will not be the case tomorrow as the wilcats are 39th in the country in run defense and they are only giving up 22.6 points per game. in wisconsins two loses this year they ran for 118 yards on 44 carries and 87 on 33. i strongly believe that n.western will be able to slow the run just enough to make qb scott tolzien beat them and so far this year he hasnt been able to overcome his teams struggles when they couldnt run.
kent st +10.5 1 unit...i hope im not off the mark with this one as i know that temple is a very tough team and are playing strong football right now. i just dont see how temple should be laying 10+ to a team with a pulse. they have layed more than 10 three times this year and they are 1-2 ats and there 1 win ats was against an army team who has a very 1 dimensional offense(running) which plays right into temples defense as they are very solid against the run, ranking 25th in the league in run defense. kent state should be able to stack the box and slow down temples strong run offense knowing that they dont have great qb play to beat them.
ole miss -4 2 units... once again i see allot of public love for this lsu team who in my opinion is soooooo overated. i strongly believe this team will be exposed tomorrow on the road in a very tough place to play. ole miss has had there let downs during this season and def have not lived up to the hype but late in the season is when this team always plays there best and in front of the crazy home field crowd they will get it done. miss defense is stout against the run and frankly this is all lsu can do. not tomorrow... lsu doesnt have a leader on offense and they have two qbs that wouldnt make an arena league football team. if lsu wants to stay in this game there defense has to play there best game possible and they still need help.
fresno state -8 2 units...gonna hold off on any kind of write up as i have stumbled on a few things i really dont like about this game. still a play as of now because i allready locked it in but might buy it off...
syracuse +8.5 6 units... strongest play of the day will be the boys in orange. one way to stop a hot rutgers team is to stop there running attack and that is what the cuse will do in the trenches. cuse is 13th in the country in run defense and they will be able to slow down rutgers. i will not take anything away from a solid rutgers team because the are playing great as of late and are pounding everyone. although, i believe they have been fortunate to play there two toughest apponents at home in new jersey. one of which they lost to pitt. they pumbled south fla also at home because they forced what seemed to be 100 turnovers( i believe it was 4). cuse has played a ton of close games against good apponents in which the score doesnt reflect the game. greg paulus has been a turnover machine and more or less has been the whole reason why cuse doesnt have more wins. i believe that this game means allot more than the average fan would think to cuse and there fans. i dont think they will put paulus in to many positions to blow this game, cuse will be playing in front of there home crowd for the last time this year. playing with your back against the wall, at home, always brings the intesity up allot and this will be the case tomorrow. cuse should have a chance to win this game and i wouldnt be suprised one bit if they did. i will be putting atleast 1 unit on the $ line for this one.
