It seems that this game has generated more discussion than any of the others,and I have seen many people post their opinions for both sides but most of the posts have had an anti-Tennessee flare.
As a UT fan I feel compelled to defend my Vols, but since I give zero credibility to "homer"posters who tell you why their team will win,I will try to give just the facts rather than baseless opinions.I really do not care which team that you wager on tonight,this is for the people that may not be very familiar with either team and would like useful information to help them make a decision.
The three most popular reasons that I have read on why "Tennessee doesn't have a chance",have been;
a) They have no pointguard
b) They can't shoot foul shots.
a) The Vols actually have 3 point guards.Ramar Smith has started most of the year and averages 21.1 minutes per game he has113 assists/74 turnovers/38 steals and has played in all 35 games.
Jordan Howell averages 17.8 minutes per game and has 76 assists/34 turnovers/18 steals ans has also played in all 35 games.
J.P. Prince practiced at PG in preseason and really started to come around in the later stages of the year.He seems to do everything well and Bruce Pearl wanted to get him more PT during the postseason.He couldn't start him in front of Chris Lofton or JaJuan Smith the Vols 2 leading scorers so he put him at PG.J.P. is comfortable there and he averages 18.5 minutes per game and has 47 assists/41 turnovers and 24 steals.
The Vols rank 4th out of 328 teams in assists per game at 18.2,and are ranked 5th in assists to turnover ratio at 1.42 to 1.
b) True.They do rank 277th at 65.6 %,but Louisville ranks 281st at 65.5%
c) The Vols had the nations toughest rated schedule and went 13-4 against Top 50 rated teams.Louisville was ranked 6th nationally but only managed a 7-6 record against trhe Top 50.

I had to rush through this because my wife needed to use my computer,but it should have read;
c) Tennessee is over-rated.
And I should mention that UT has played 5 of the teams in the Sweet Sixteen going 4-1 as they beat Memphis,West Virginia,Xavier,and Western Kentucky,and lost to Texas.
-BLACKSTONE- You are correct.
