you are the equivalent for ACC basketball just like Garfather is for being all over Ohio States nuts in the football forum

I can find other rankings that have the ACC ranked 3rd behind Pac 10 and Big 12. RPI is a joke of a ranking system anyway.

Why shouldn't he be on Ohio State... afterall they are in the National Championship   As far as being on a team/conferences nuts wasn't it you who bet UConn would finish ahead of UVA in football, and WVU was a national championship lock Practice what you preach man, or else keep your bias comments to yourself

I guess saying WVU is a lock for the national championship if they win out is the same as just saying WVU is a lock for the national championship.

The ACC is the best conference top to bottom, hands down.  The only conferences that would even have a shot at the ACC in a challenge situation are the Pac-10 and Big East (Top 12 teams).  If you are going which conference has the most title contenders then yes the Big 12, and ACC, and Pac-10 are clearly ahead of any other conference.

take away Michigan, Northwestern, Penn State then u could say Big 10 league,

The real question would have to be...

"Best conference in the country.... Besides the Big East."

ACC teams couldn't handle the game in and game out physical play of Big  East play.
 
Sorry folks, when a VERY AVERAGE player like Paulus is so heavily touted, well I take issue w/that.  Also it makes me wonder about the conf.   Am I way off base?  Tell me what exactly JJ Reddick has done since leaving Duke.  They should all be paying Dick Vitale for the "hype".
 
Big East guard play would tear so many of those ACC team up.

BDWah i have tried to teach him about the difference between ACC and Big East football.  Now I am not saying ACC football is god by any means, but let's be real the Big East is hardly even considered a football conference.  Aside from West Virginia, they are all a bunch of nobodys.  A team like UConn (Big East runner up) would be extremely extremely lucky to sniff .500 in the ACC.

Paulus and Redick = good college players, but I would say they are far from the best NBA players out of the ACC.  Very very far...

The Big East is 4 teams larger than the ACC. The Big East is not he best THIS YEAR but year in and year out they are the best basketball conference, end of discussion.

Seton Hall a team that will be lucky to finish 8th in the Big East this year demolished a UVA team that will finish in the top half of the ACC.

The ACC is 8-5 against the Big East this year.  And your idiotic comment of UVA losing to Seton hall is the equivalent of saying that 4-5 Georgia Tech won at Notre Dame, or that medicore NC State beat Nova on a neutral court.  Your argument is terrible

U ever heard of 2 pretty good programs in Duke and UNC ?  It is between ACC and PAC-10......

 

Duke has already beat Illinois and Wisconsin by a combined total of 37 and beat Marquette by 4.

VA won at Arizona

NC St beat Nova and lost to Mich st by 3 at Mich St

GT beat Notre Dame by 1
