Implement a 4 point shot in College hoops and in the NBA. How would it be implemented?
Very easy! If a player makes a shot behind the half court line, the player is rewarded 4 points. You don't need to draw any extra lines or markers on the court. Simply, if the player is behind the half court line and chucks up a shot and makes it, the player is rewarded 4 points.
Currently, a player is rewarded 3 points for making a fairly long distance shot. Well, wouldn't you want to reward a player even more if that player makes an even longer shot? of course!!!
Remember, there used to be no 3 point line in college hoops. You only get 2 points for making a shot anywhere on the court. Eventually, the 3 point line was implemented and it made college hoops more enjoyable to watch.

i always thought that if you hit 3 shots in a row without the other team scoring that the rim should catch on fire. The trick is the announcer must say, "Hes on fire!," then the player has the ability to hit shots from anywhere on the floor.
