Both teams are good on short rest. NDSU is 8-3 ATS this year on games with 1 or less days rest while SDSU is 6-2 ATS (still trying to figure out how this stat is possible for both team but whatever). I don't think that tired legs will have much of a factor and if it does it will be in the long jumpers which I have to think favors the Jacks since this is three games in three days for NDSU and only three games in four days for SDSU.
SDSU has a RPI of 76. They rank 35th in the NCCAB ranks for points per game (73.9); 164th in rebounds per game (34.9); 66th in assists per game (14.6); and 28th in field goal percentage per game (.470). While NDSU has a RPI of 78 and they rank 187th in points per game (67.0); 182nd in rebounds per game (34.5); 179th in assists per game (12.6); and 26th in field goal percentage per game (.470). I have already mentioned that statistically speaking NDSU has the better defense. However, South Dakota State has been playing their best defense of the year this year. For the tournament they are holding their opponents to a combined 45% FG% and 29% from behind the arc. I would like to see that FG% a little lower but at least they are not getting beat deep. Plus UMKC and WIU are two very bad offenses (WIU great defense though) so those numbers are a little skewed but IPFW is a great offense and last night was an impressive display of defense against that team.
All in all I think that SDSU is peaking at the right time and in a tough game they will be victorious against NDSU for all the reasons stated above. Therefore my play is:
SDSU +1.5 risking 13.2 units to win 12 units
Year to Date Jacks Record:
14-8 +14.1 units

BOL Pho-20 in whatever you decide. It will be a great game and no matter what the outcome I will enjoy it. Of course I will enjoy it even more if the Jacks win

Do whatever you want. Trust me you will not hurt my feelings or get a rise out of me one way or another. I am merely sharing my thoughts from the entire season, this tournament and my experience. I have been wrong before so if I am it will not be the first. But I love the play. BOL!

BOL DanTos8715... I really don't see this losing. As much as I love SDSU +1.5 if they lose it will be 2 possessions or less.

Completely agree jkidd... it is really hard for me to put into words the atmosphere unless you been there. I really hope that Nate the Great finishes his career with a win and gets to the NCAA Tournament. If not then it will not be a blemish in his great career as he is the best player the Rabbits have ever seen. BOL!
