Miami-Ohio RedHawks +7.0 *covers @ Bowling Green Falcons

These schools split their season series as the RedHawks downed BGSU, 63-60, at home on Jan. 16 before the Falcons exacted their revenge with a 52-44 decision on Feb. 27. Miami holds a sizeable 77-52 all-time series edge coming into the tourney.

The last 4 games dating back to last year were within 8 pts.

South Carolina State Bulldogs +13.5 *covers @ Morgan State Bears

When these teams met up back on Jan. 12 the Bears rolled to a 76-60 win on their home floor. Morgan State has won five straight and 10 of the last 11 games with the Bulldogs. South Carolina State leads the all-time series though, 39-31.

St. Mary's Gaels +6.0 *covers @ Gonzaga Bulldogs 

Saint Mary's, which defeated the Bulldogs in the title game last season (78-74) in overtime, has gone up against Gonzaga in the championship game a total of six times since 2004.

Gonzaga, which defeated the Gaels in the championship two years ago (75-63), has a staggering 11 trophies stemming from this event, not to mention a record of 40-15 all-time.

In terms of the all-time series between these two squads, the Zags lead by a count of 56-27 after sweeping the regular-season matchups.

Gonzaga may Win SU but can they cover the spread?... I'll Bite!

St.Marys Gaels beat Gonzaga in the WCC tournament finals twice in last three seasons to get to the March Madness. Nothing new for them. Yes, Gonzaga is much better this season than in years past, but they are also ranked much higher, yet the line is not really reflecting that, especially after that St.Marys OT win against San Diego. Dellavedova had a horrible game against SD and they still rallied and won that game. Dellavedova usually plays well against Gonzaga and we will need him to play well today.

Detroit +9.5

The Jazz aren't playing well enough to lay this many points even to a weak foe such as the Pistons. Utah is 1-7 in its last eight games. The Jazz just finished an 0-4 road trip that ended at New York this past Saturday. This is their first home game in 10 days so their minds might be distracted.

This marks Utah's third game in four days and fourth in six days. The Jazz have been a strong home team, but are just 3-3 during their past six at EnergySolutions Arena. Utah also will be missing underrated Paul Millsap, who missed the Knicks' game this past Saturday with a sore knee.

The Pistons shouldn't lack for motivation. They were embarrassed, 129-97, by the Clippers last night in Los Angeles. Both Greg Monroe and Jose Calderon expressed frustration with the loss with Monroe saying his team played with no effort. That's a strong criticism that should light a fire. The Pistons also have revenge for blowing a 15-point lead in a 90-87 home loss to Utah.

Detroit is 3-3 in its last six road matchups defeating Milwaukee, Charlotte and much-improved Washington. The Pistons, when motivated and catching a less-than-elite foe in a slump and in an unfavorable situational spot, can hold its own. Note, too, that the Jazz are just 1-6 ATS the past seven times when facing an opponent with a winning percentage below .400.
