really respect your opinion alot, was wondering wat u thought of st.louis today
Well, I have them in two teasers (which I never do), so yeah, big fan.
Hate conference road chalk and rarely lay it, but SLU is just a rare team that truly abides by the "one game at a time mentality." Not sure where GW finds offense and the loss of Bynes - a really solid and long perimeter defender - has proven to be a bigger problem than anticipated. Evans probably guards Garino and mitigates GW's usual best matchup.

VCU 1-4 vs Top 50, straight up. Much less effective when pace is slower.
Butler has been horrible against pressure all season. Why? No point guard. Barlow is a smart guy, but he's a walk-on with a limited ceiling. Clarke is a 2-guard who has been forced into playing the point. As smart as Stevens is - in fact he's the best coach in the country - I don' know that he'll be able to control the pace on the road against HAVOC.
I'm curious to see the matchups from an individual standpoint. Best guesses are Clarke/Theus, Roosevelt/Graham, Smith/Reddic, Barlow/Brandenberg, Marshall/Daniels.
Briante probably spends a good amount of time on Clarke, as well.

JFen...Been following your posts for a good while here. I enjoy the insight almost as much as I enjoy the profits.
Anyway, I'm a firefighter located in Pittsburgh and work at a station that is literally attached to Duquesne's Polumbo Center...hence, we see many games. I always enjoyed the way ex-coach Ron Everhart had that team shooting every 12 seconds (I mean that literally). They won a ton of games and played hard to the end in all their losses under him. Since they fired him and hired Jim Ferry from Long Island this team is unwatchable. With the exception of that Temple upset this team is slow and cant get inside. I hate it.
Just thought I'd ask your thoughts on the LaSalle game today. I cant see Duq losing by less than 20 here.
Thanks bro...

Jfen, love your capping abilities...thought I'd ask you (and badlands)...what's your insight on Boise st -1? Thanks for your time..and good luck today.
Ps...Hawaii should be rocking tonight...senior night, white out, players saying they want revenge on cal poly(who beat them by a lot last game). Vander is pissed(got into a yelling fight with his coach...and he wants to win bad)..,I'm not saying they win, I'd just thought I'd give you info, for all the help you do for me.
Thanks

I was floored when they fired Everhart. He pulled that program straight out of the depths of hell and put together a few nice seasons with Clark, Saunders, Evans, Monteiro, etc...I expected Ferry to come in and keep the same style from his LIU teams, which were fast & explosive in the open court. From watching year, it seems like they really miss McConnell's defense. Colter appears to be a keeper, but the big guys are painfully slow.
As far as today, no clue how they keep it close with La Salle. The Explorer guards are soooo disciplined and completely control games from end to end. The only teams that give them problems are big and physical on the inside. Obviously, Duquesne does not fit this description. Dukes will need La Salle to have a bad shooting day against the zone just to hang around.

A late add. Appears Napier is out. No Justin Jackson for Cincy, but Boatright is going to need to play close to the full 40 minutes for UCONN to stay competitive. Bearcats should dominate on the glass. Immediate revenge for the game two weeks ago in Hartford, and I question how much UCONN has left after the GTown loss. Cincinnati -7 (1 unit)
