SU winners: 22 OT record: 7-3 Record on the open: 32-27-1 Winners because of the Open: 4 Losers because of the Open: 1 Pushes because of the Open: 1
Notes from Thursday: -Not
knowing KJ McDaniels injured his ankle was unfortunate as I'm not sure I
would have gotten involved knowing the prime defender on UNC's best
shooter would be out. Clemson was just so bad offensively as they tried
to mount a comeback throwing the ball yards away from teammates and just
gave away fast-break layups -UVA started hot and then found
themselves in a dogfight with Duke but responded well and Joe Harris was
as good as he's been all year against me. For that I feel satisfied -Gonzaga
is just so good and zoning them is a foolish plan unless you truly have
no alternative. Pangos was cold as hell and they still controlled the
game throughout as BYU never lead. -Great comeback by the Cougs and
the crowd was awesome as always. You can always count on the Marriott
Center to show up (I say that in reference to Morgantown only having a
crowd of 6,100 on Wednesday as I thought they would support their 'Neers
no matter what), though it was a pretty tough push to take down 3 with
the ball and only :05.6 left
February conclusion: -Got smoked this year, I guess it was the oddsmakers repaying me for an 18-4 February last year. Couldn't have ended worse with a hard-luck push on BYU because I got a bad number after they went to the line down 3 with :05.6 left
For Saturday...
locked in: Arkansas -2 (-110) vs. Kentucky Wake Forest +1.5 (-110) vs. Maryland Notre Dame +7 (-110) @ Marquette Syracuse -1.5 (-110) vs. Louisville
