Favorite game of the day: Utah St +7.5 @ L Tech
I do not see how these teams are separated by 7 points. Yes, L Tech has been as hot as any team in cbb, but Utah state is a great team. Love backing them. In their first meeting a month ago Utah state shot 27% and still only lost by 3. The big number that jumps at me is the rebounding. I dont know if i put too much emphasis on this but I value this stat more than any other. The rebounding differential was 48-29 in favor of Utah st. That speaks volumes. The free throw attempts were 17-7 in favor of Utah St. Rebounding and FTA are a consistent stat and I see it continuing in this game. Utah State will get more shots to fall in this game. I see great value on the ML but I will without question take the points especially when there are +7.5 and +8 out there to bite on.
N Colorado +2 @ E washington
Badlands- who i respect is on the opposite side of this game which worries me. But a lot of this reasoning falls into the same categories as utah state. These teams played a month ago. It was an easy 16 point win for N colorado. They both shot around 37% but again the reboudning and free throw differential was HUGE. Rebounds were 44-26! and free throw attempts were 21-10. I do not see how N colorado is getting points in this one but Ill take it. East washington lead by 1 point for about 30 seconds in that game and the rest was absolutely a dominating effort by northern colorado for the rest of the game. Taking the points bigtime.
UNC ML vs Clemson
Ill make this quick. I fade clemson whenever I can. Clemson is a .500 team and are .500 for a reason. They are not good. They have no offense. Obviously they play tough D but UNC is a very good team on both ends. I just think clemson cannot keep up on O. Just a feeling, are not relying on stats as much in this one, rather a fade on clemson vs a good team. i like this game less than the other 2.
