YTD: 20-6

First pick of 2013, had a nice break watching football and at a meditation retreat.  Fun to be back watching some college basketball and NFL playoffs, hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season.

Today I am looking at the Drake at Creighton game.  Drake has been one of the most disappointing teams this year, the loss of Rice really hurt them.  Minus Rice, Drake has everyone back from a solid team last year, which hasnĀ“t translated to wins this year.  Creighton is the efficient machine we expected, they will roll through the MVC.  Both teams love to shoot the 3, and they both make the 3 ball at a high rate.  Drake has shot terribly the past 3 games, falling to 0-3 in the MVC.

Thus, Drake has to be unbelievably desperate to put a good game together and find a win in conference.  I don`t think they win today at Creighton, but think they lose by no more than 10.  If they shoot the 3 efficiently, Drake can be in this game until the end.  These teams and current players obviously know each other extremely well.  Drake has not lost by 19 points all year, Creighton won`t be the first one to do it.  I am taking the Bulldogs +19.5.

Good luck and use your winning wisely....

This matchup has been giving me a headache all morning.  I'm feeling the exact way you are.

Creighton doesn't "blow" teams out of the water by any means, either.  It all comes down to whether Drake shows up tonight.

Missed your insight on games and your selections. Thought maybe you had been boxed but couldn't find a reason why.

BOL on a profitable 2013.

Good luck all!  Yeah, all will come down to how Drake shoots the 3.  If they make 20% like they have over their last 3 games in conference could be good night, but I think they show up and play Creighton tough tonight.

I would think Ohio State would crush Purdue tonight.  Those people betting on Purdue must not have watched a Purdue game this year, they are in a down, down, down year.  Missouri State has been playing well as of late and catching 9.5 points at home, looks good as well....

Hey Buddha, I really respect your capping skills...not sure if you mess with nba, but was wondering if you had any input on lakers/rockets game...I feel I'm the only one liking lakers +9 tonight.  Trust me, I think lakers are terrible and have no chemistry... But I love that Howard is out and think we get to see "Kobe" finally play as old.  Your input.??

Good to see you back.  I hope the retreat went well.  I'm afraid of Drake but I agree with St.  and St.   Good luck tonight.
