This one is all about Morehead St and the tempo and style with which they bring every time they take the court. Head Coach Sean Woods wants his team to create havoc on defense and push the pace constantly. As a result, they have had only one game in the last month play to under 70 possessions (and that was 64 possessions vs snail Wright St with a pace rating of #294).
As for his defensive philosophy, there are pros and cons -- but both help when backing an Over. First, Morehead St creates turnovers on >25% of its defensive possessions (19th best rate in nation) leading to easy transition points. However, another result of this pressure D is the fact that they are very foul prone. In fact, no other team in the country has a higher FTA/FGA ratio. And as I mentioned in a recent post, scoring with no time coming off of the clock is always nice to have with an Over ticket in your hand.
On the NDSt side of things, we get to back a home team that shoots the 3 ball very well (39.5%, #19), and that will knock down the abundance of FT attempts that they should get tonight (74.5%, #37). In fact, in their four home games this season, the Bison have yet to post a ppp below 1.18.
Lastly, we do have a recent match up to compare to. Back on December 5th, NDSt won at Morehead St 69-57 in 71 possessions. Digging into that box score we see that Morehead was only able to manage a 30.5% shooting effort that night and the teams combined to go 9-36 from behind the arc. Despite this, that score only came up 2 points shy of tonight's total.

My local doesn't offer a total but I will be on the side with NDST -11. Taylor Braun was only 6-17 from the field in the first meeting (had 12 FT attempts). With an improvement in his FG% and home court I like this game. Good luck throughout the season.

BetOnline has 130.5 and that is the only online book I can find of the thirty listed on SBR. This would be a great play but I don't think most of us are going to be able to play it. Hopefully the rest of the books come out with a total. We will see but BOL with your play!

Many of the books are still slow to put up the totals, I thought we were past the TV games only totals, but they must wait for conference season. Thanks for the writeup, you have a solid book to give you a total on a little Summit non conf action.

This is where I made the play earlier today. I know there is a growing frustration among many out there about lack of availability on totals this year. BOL has posted totals for every lined game for a few weeks now thankfully

I agree I think that you have a great bet and it should fly over. I also agree that it is too bad that the books will not post totals but once we get to conference play they will. BOL and I hope this hits for you!
