For whatever reason, Marquette often comes out sluggish in the first half. Combine this with Butler having a week to prep and Stevens' history of bouncing back off of blowout losses, we should see a very focused Butler team at the start of the game.
Problem is, the Dawgs don't have a point guard. Clarke is a 2-guard and everyone outside of Indianapolis knows it. Marquette will turn up the heat in the second half and I have no confidence in Butler, without a proven facilitator on the roster, being able to handle the intensity of the Marquette pressure.

Jacksonville State +12.5 (1 unit) I'll be honest - this is a scary play. JSU is typically horrific on the road and goes into a traditionally tough venue tonight in Eugene. But...Oregon is a downright wicked sandwich spot. Three nights ago, the Ducks avenged last year's blowout loss in Nashville by returning the favor at home against Vandy. Friday night, they head to Vegas for a clash with UNLV in the Ducks' most important non-conference game of the season. Focus level? Probably not high. It's also at least worth mentioning that morale is wayyyy down in Eugene right now after the events of Saturday night. I can't imagine the crowd will be particularly boisterous for this game. Again, there is certainly blowout potential, but I'll take my chances and play the spot.

I didn't spend any time on this game until I saw you were on it. The Cocks are 20-6 ATS in road lined games over the last couple of years! They were only 5-21 SU in those games but that is pretty strong covering the number. They are also 23-9 ATS as a dog during that time span. Again they don't win those games but they play people closer than expected. The sandwich spot for Oregon and Jacksonville St's history ATS in these spot make it a play. Scary? Sure but worth a play.

Great stuff, Yacker. I knew JSU rarely wins games on the road but it is certainly reassuring to know they usually cover the number as a dog. I actually kind of like their team this year and think they can finish towards the middle of the OVC instead of their traditional spot at the bottom.

5-2 Monday. Again, the goal is to simply be in the positives at the end of November, which is historically my worst month.
Tuesday:
Idaho -2 (1 unit)
What the hell was Wardle thinking with Green Bay's schedule? This is the 4th game in 5 nights (including track meet with Fullerton) and involves a shitload of travel from Reno all the way up to Moscow. Vandals also have revenge from last year's 63-61 loss @ GB.
