Why is North Carolina only -10.5 vs long beach state ? I don't get it . Is it the women's basketball team vs long beach state? Please help me on this before I bet 5 grand on North Carolina.

West coast game at long beach on the way to maui. Carolina still trying to find its identity with a nucleus of new/returning players.  Niners are quick and athletic and could cause heels problems in half court.  I'm staying away unless line goes down.  Might hit the total pending on where it is probably 140s.  Hope this helps

Long Beach lost their entire team from last season.

.......and Carolina didn't?  4 (count em) FOUR top 17 draft picks.  Carolina was #1 last year when LBSU went to chapel hill and almost beat them

I honestly don't know how someone could bet on a game like this. Both teams lost everyone from last season. What angle can you possibly take?

Umm yea, and UNC reloads with a team full of McDonalds All Americans.  LBSU is good once every 8-10 yrs.  What did they reload with exactly?

Efficiency for the year. uNC is not posting numbers like top tier teams. As a matter of fact, their efficiency is at 1.02... Compare that number to the likes of the other top teams like nc state at 1.33, baylor at 1.24...

What's good coming in vs lb state, their 0.79 efficiency is nothing to be proud about either...

Going to see how line movement goes...

UNC, by my estimation, is a solid squad at the moment in comparison to the rest of D-I but too young and raw to be top tier.  LBSU, on the other hand, is a complete unknown and replacing all their seniors from last yr with guys with questionable pedigrees whereas UNC is replacing their guys with guys with top notch pedigrees.  UNC doesnt need to be a "good team" to beat LBSU by double digits is all I am saying.

Agree completely, just not ready to put $ down yet.  This is they're first true road test. Taking a wait and see approach

True. You can make an argument on talent on this game. Beach was ran out the gym by usc earlier the week and they looked unmotivated.

This has the making of either a blow out or trap game for sure.

If LBSU got ran off the court by USC....that is NOT a good sign.

Different this yr b/c they beat up a team with 8 new players?

We'll see.  Surely USC cant be anywhere near as horrid as they were last yr.

I agree w this guy, although it is CSULB not LBSU, the best team they've had in years was last seasons squad. They got blown out by USC in their first game this year . They will lose by 20-30 points vs UNC.
