What do you think the Syracuse line would have been vs K-State before and after Melo?

Might have been Syracuse -5 and now -2?

I believe you are very close, there is no question K.State gives the Cuse fits as they handled the great guard play from Mizzu with no problem. I will be taking Kstate to upset them straight up as Syracuse has shown they can not play with Melo out.

Nobody said it was easy but I unlike the 90% of the public will be on Kstate for the upset. I am a big Cuse fan and the absence of Melo is very similar to the absence of Yegette from Florida. Not big names but big defensive presence inside. In my mind the Wildcats are one of the most dangerous teams in this tournament.

Why is everyone assuming KState is some lock to beat Southern Miss.  Southern Miss had a very good season and could easily win that game.

I saw Southern Miss play. Only once, but they looked soft. K-State is tough as nails and plays really hard. No quit in them and they play tough D. K-State should have no trouble with Southern Miss, but not sure whether they can take out Cuse. I'm putting them in for the upset, but there's no money on the line for a bracket.

Southern Miss had a great season no doubt but this is a matchup of men against boys. No way they have a chance to stop the inside game of the Wildcats.
